Title: KFS Wheel-Alert!
Post by: Kon-Fu-Sed on September 17, 2008, 07:00:23 AM
Hi All,

Inspired by the five stars for my Alert!er I wrote a new one... For Wheel-Sectors.

Can you define a COLD sector in terms of...
* Maximum number of hits (0 - 999)
* In a Minimum number of slots (1 - 37/38)
* Within a (minimum) number of spins (1 - 999)

Can you define a HOT sector in terms of...
* Minimum number of hits (1 - 999)
* In a Maximum number of slots (1 - 37/38)
* Within a Maximum number of spins (1 - 999)

In that case, my "Wheel Alert!er" may be of use for you...
As usual it's written in JavaScript to be used in your browser. You can download it here:
nolinks://vlsroulette.com/downloads/?sa=view;id=179 (nolinks://vlsroulette.com/downloads/?sa=view;id=179)

Un-zip (6 files) into a folder.
For Single-Zero wheels you open the file "w0alert.html"
For Double-Zero wheels you open the file "w00alert.html"

And here are the instructions (as usual you will also find them when you start the program):

----

Select the kind(s) of sectors you want to follow by checking the box(es).
Select or de-select any kind at any time without loss of spins.

Enter your ALERT! values (or use the "Up" and "Down" buttons):
* Cold sectors: The MAX hits within a MIN of slots and how many spins (Min).
* Hot sectors: The MIN hits within a MAX of slots and a MAX of spins.

Change anything anytime for any kind without loss of spins.
* Use the "Re-Calc" button to re-calculate with new values/conditions.
The ALERT!s and the hit-graph will be updated.
* Use the "Default values" button to set all values to default.
(Set your own SINGLE-0 defaults at the top of file "basw0alert.html" - look for "// DEFAULT VALUES...")
(Set your own DOUBLE-0 defaults at the top of file "basw00alert.html" - look for "// DEFAULT VALUES...")

Input spins - up to 2000 results separated by anything. Copy-and-paste Wiesbaden incl dealer-changes...
Double-zeros must be 00 in W00-Alert!er. (Will be changed to 0 in W0-Alert!er.)
Click the "Load" button to load them into memory - it will be confirmed.
Check "Use" to use them instead of the lay-out. Un-check to use the lay-out.
Both "Load" and "Use" will trigger a RESET: Shown spins, the ALERT!s (this part) and the hit-graph will be erased.

Click the hitting number in the layout or - using Input spins - use the "Next Auto" button.
* Use the "Cancel" button to cancel the last spin (also repeat).
The ALERT!s and the hit-graph will be updated.
* Use the "RESET" button to reset the spins - NOT your ALERT! values or Input spins.
The ALERT!s and the hit-graph will be erased.

The hits will be marked in the hit-graph at the bottom.
- If only one kind (Cold or Hot) is selected, the hits of the entered number of spins will be shown.
- If both kinds are selected, the hits of the largest entered number of spins will be shown.
- If none is selected, all hits, from start, will be shown.
(You can select and un-select and use "Re-Calc" to see a selected range)

The Output will show the ALERT!s for each kind:
"H/S =" shows how many Hits in how many Slots.
"Sect =" shows the numbers in the sector in clock-wise wheel-order.
[Within brackets] the same numbers in sequence.

COLD ALERT!s: Will be generated when the number of spins is at least equal to "(Min) spins".
HOT ALERT!s: Will be generated when the number of spins is at least equal to "MIN hits".
When the first ALERT! comes, this part will be replaced by the output.
(An alert may also be "No Alert!s this spin.")

AND - as usual: Please ALERT! me of any errors. TIA

Have fun!
KFS

(I'm not sure how many spins you may enter - probably a few thousands...
One limit is MAX 99 hits in ONE number.
Another may be the length of the "spins string" shown under the layout... In that case it's a JavaScript limitation but I don't know it.)

Maybe I'm still asleep, but how does it alert you?  I put in some Gamlet parameters and nothing.  I tried defaults; nothing.

Hi Sam,

Load the single-zero version.
Check Hot and click the default button.

Now click 0 - 32 - 15 - 19 on the lay-out and your first hot alert should bee seen.
No??? (I did it just now and it works...)

Or 0 - 28 - 9 - 26 on the 00-version...

My table had both 00 and 0.  I'll try again.

That's the 00 version, then.
Check hot and click the Default button. Then click 0 - 28 - 9 - 26 at the lay-out...

It works fine on my computer...

OK, I check the 0 version with the numbers you gave.  What am I looking for?  Noise?  Flash?

 ;D

The instructions will be replaced by the alerts...
Aren't they?

Or just simply click any number four times (with Hot checked and the default values).

You make me worried...

In the very lower left hand corner of my screen it says "error on page".

Yes,

Very sorry for trouble.

Thanks so much.  This is a software I've prayed for!!  I will post ideas I've had for a while now since Addonai's "Half of the Moon".

This is "Gamlet" on a computer program for sure.  Just tried it out.  You have moved this idea light years ahead.

How may we thank you?

THANKS for those words!
8)

Thank me by using and enjoying it!

And by telling me if you find errors w/o being angry... the input possibilities are infinite and I cannot possibly test all by myself.
I have done extensive testing, though. And finally, yesterday, I couldn't find any errors...
(But that's yesterday ;))

(What happened above - did you delete a post? "Working now...")

All,

I better tell you one thing from start, that has kon-fu-sed ;) me at times:

For example while using the default values and having both Cold and Hot selected.
You get a HOT alert and input another number and that hot alert disappears.
But in the hit-graph that same sector is still seen with a qualifying number of hits.

In that case, do this:
De-select (un-check) COLD and click the Re-Calc button and the hit-graph will show you the number of spins entered into the "MAX spins" field.
The hot sector should be gone from the hit-graph.

If not: Alert me. (Complete with the number-sequence you used)
But so far it has been correct...

It is because the COLD number of spins entered into the "(Min) spins" field is greater than the "MAX spins" (for Hot sectors) field and the hit-graph therefore show older spins that are not valid for Hot, if you also have Cold selected.

Yes, I did delete it.  Didn't work.......try again..........

A BIG THANKS!!

he he There's a limit to how big you can make it!

Sam

You'll probably hate me for this, but I have an idea for an improvement.

The "Gamlet" system requires defining five different sectors:

a double hit... 21 21 within two spins
2 of 3 within 5 spins
3 of 5 within 5 spins
4 of 7 within 5 spins
5 of 9 within 5 spins

Now I can open five tabs and put in the number five times.  But if you could make it multiple-enter, type once and all five get the same input, well, I'd fall over!!

The edit your defaults does not work on mine.  The // thing on the other page you send us to.  Nothing in the upper left hand corner.

I can and will use this just as is.

Thanks.

Hate you?

If it is possible for me to do it, I'd love to.
If not; as the program is in JavaScript it's a kind if "open source" so maybe someone else can do it.

Sam,

Regarding the defaults:

This is the start of the file "basw00alert.html" (note the name)
I guess you use the 00-version.

<html>
<head>
<script language=JavaScript>
<!--

// DEFAULT VALUES

// COLD values: 1, 9, 18
var defaultColdMaxHits = 1;
var defaultColdMinSlots = 9;
var defaultColdMinSpins = 18;

// HOT values: 4, 7, 10
var defaultHotMinHits = 4;
var defaultHotMaxSlots = 7;
var defaultHotMaxSpins = 10;

// End of Default Values

Change the values after the " = " (bolded here) to whatever you like.
Do NOT erase the ";" at the end of each line. It HAS to be there.

And I will give your "multi-check" idea some thoughts.
Don't expect anything tomorrow, though ;)

See above........

And.....if it is possible to have this feature.....

Highlight and erase the Hot Sector/Cold Sector Alert.........

Some may not want to do that, so an option would be nice.  I write them down on paper and keep track of the bets, so I only need to see them once.  Putting the numbers in order is wonderful.  You might be surprised how close your program is to my manual worksheets.

Sam,

Regarding this last thing...

I'm not sure I understand.
If you don't want to see the alerts; simply un-check the kind you don't want.
When you later check it (and maybe click Re-Calc) everything is there. All spins are saved all the time (until a Reset, that is).

Or maybe you mean something else?

This program is perfect just the way it is.  Inputing five numbers is a snap.

It will really shine with the hot sectors as Addonai outlined them.

Hello Sam,

It may not be exactly what you asked for, but better than five tabs... (IMHO)

Input numbers using one of the settings (f ex 2 hits / 3 slots / 5 spins).
After each number; use the Up- and Down-buttons to change the Hits and Slots to another setting and then click the Re-Calc button.
Check each setting this way and then input a new number.

Remember: You can change any value at any time and use the Re-Calc button as much as you want without loss of data.
All spins are always saved (except the canceled ones, of course) as you can see in the hit-graph if you un-check BOTH Cold and Hot and then click Re-Calc.

(...double-hits... does the program need to alert you of those? ;))

Yes, if you get 30 and then 30, that is a bet.

Listen, I was asleep at the wheel this morning.  This program is perfect!
