How many spins would you have to test a system on to be confident that it works?

I've been working on a system of roulette play that has tested in the positive for over 7,500 actual casino spins, and plan on testing it over another 7,500 before I decide to play it in the real casino for real money or not.

Would that be enough to verify if I've got a winner or not?

The method of testing I'm using is the book entitled "Roulette System Tester" that contains 15,000 actual casino spins on an American double zero wheel.

Is there any other data base of actual casino spins that I could gain access to so I can test my method on even more spins?

I'm also new to the board, and hope to become a valued contributor here.

Exactly that is great thinking

If you do your tests by hand then:

5000 is good.
10.000 is better.
100.000 is super.

One suggestion. Use TRNGs. Thats my opinion.

Well, I wanted breakfast until I read your screen name!

I posed that same question a while back.  I had 5,000 under my belt.  Is this system designed for the American Wheel?  Are you in the USA?  I am.  If I find a system produces over 2,000 spins I will back it with real money, small bets, and test it live.  Lanky taught me you just can't learn properly until you sit down and play with your own money.  Not even your brother's money, but yours!!

See, I own that book, too.  You have ages to make your next bet.  At a casino you have a time frame. 

If your system were designed for the single 0 wheel, you could download spins daily from casinos around the world.

Yes, it's for the American wheel, and I live in Las Vegas!

I'll have no problem taking it to the real tables after I'm 100% certain that it works on paper.

If you're living in Vegas, why would you bet the 00 wheel when Stratosphere has a 0 with a very low minimum?  However, as a fellow American, if you can beat the 00 wheel, I'm all for you.

Well, I do it because I'm betting on both zeros with my method, I don't like the single zero wheel, and it's hard to find them around town.

CP has three
Venetian has three
Stratosphere has one
Bellagio has two or three
Mandalay has at least one
Luxor has one sometimes two
Mirage has one
TI has one
Wyne has at least one to three of them.
Palazzio has at least one
