Hi Wildcard,

As per your request, I am pleased to help! Just tell me exactly what you want doing, and I'll get to it.

Dizzy.  8-)

Wildcard

Hi there, Sp1N-D1zZy, i am very pleased you accepted to meet my request and started this thread.

I think this should be a walk in the park for you, because it only requires tracking ( and time ;) )

This is not a system, but it might help a lot of gamblers to develop their systems (those who are looking for sleepers).

Some say systems based on sleepers don´t work. ( YEAH, RIGHT ! )  That´s fine by me, but i really think people should TRY to use their brains more often...

Having said that : The idea is to gather information concerning the longest time a particular location of the table was absent.

This is not new, of course, but i´ve used valuble information from Turbo´s webpage. Please take 2 minutes or so to check it here >>> nolinks://nolinks.freewebs.com/turbogenius/whatsthelongest.htm

As you can see, the results Turbo got from his run of 1 Million RNG Spins were shown at this table:

QuoteLocation...Longest no show...Most repeated

Straight Up.......466..........4
Splits................249..........6
Streets..............160..........7
Corners............136..........7
Line..................89............9
Dozen...............35...........13
Column.............38...........12
Even Money......24...........19

He also provided extra details... this is the example he posted for straight-up bets:

Quote
Straight up bets (betting on a single number)
payout is 35 to 1
odds of winning are 1 in 37
(European Table Single 0)
and 1 in 38
(American Table Double 0)

Most spins without a showing :
466 spins (2 numbers did this)
Second most without a showing :
449 spins (2 numbers did this)

Longest repeating number :
4 spins (14 numbers did this)

What i propose is to collect the same data but using 1 Million TRNG Spins.

The trouble is Random.org site will only give away (free of charge) samples of up until 10.000 integer numbers at a time, which would require 100 samples of 10.000 numbers (spins - single zero wheel) in order to obtain 1 Million TRNG spins (after properly COPY/PASTING them).

--- You don´t happen to have an extra 1 Million TRNG spins file lying around, do you ?  ;D  ---

So, as soon as possible, i will get started on the file. I will collect samples from that site and paste them together as i believe this will NOT have an effect on the outcome.

I will have a file with 1 spin per line... but i don´t have RX so i need to know what kind of file it uses.

After this, i will e-mail it to you, and you do the hard work  :P ... then, all you have to do is to post the summary (results) for each of the locations:

Straight Ups
Splits
Streets
Corners
Lines
Dozens
Columns
Even Money

AND I WILL BE X-TREMELY GRATEFUL  :)

Any questions, feel free to ask. CHEERS

Tangram

Hi Wildcard,

Is there a particular reason why you want TRNGs used? I have a file of over 1 million spins from weisbaden which would save you a lot of time and trouble!
cheers,

lucky_strike

The randomness comes from atmospheric noise

Which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs.

Tangram

Hi Lucky,

My point was, why use either a RNG or a TRNG when you can use "the real thing" - actuals?

Is there a difference? TRNGs or Actuals! :)

QuoteIs there a difference?

If you're using a non-advantage play system, then no, I guess not. All I meant was, if Wildcard is planning to get 1,000,000 spins from random.org, that is going to be very tedious, much easier would be to use my 1,000,000 weisbaden spins file, that's all.

Wildcard

@ Tangram & lucky strike, thank you both for your interest [smiley=4/gathering.gif]

Tangram, as lucky pointed out, TRNGs are better for some purposes, like the one i want to see posted with this thread, thanks to our Code Magician [smiley=4/biggrinthumb.gif].

Concerning actuals, i can perfectly relate to what you are saying, but consider this point of view...

1 Million Actuals is the sum of several smaller "strings" of actuals... The exercise i asked Sp1N-D1zZy  (Code Magician  :D ) to do is to find the values of the longest sleeper in all locations and that can be subverted by the fact that 2 or more of those smaller strings having the same sleepers by chance, what would result in distorted totals.

Example: Lets say the end of a string has RED sleeping for 16 spins and (by chance) the next string starts with RED sleeping for 17 spins... this would tell us that this particular EC would have slept for 33 spins !!!!!  Which is, in my humble opinion... well, 99 % impossible.

See ?   ;)

Anyway, since Sp1N-D1zZy will code it up for our "pleasure", he can plug in my file of TRNGs and extract the results and afterwards, he can plug your actuals file and do the same again. What do you say ?

This way, we could see the differences between TRNGs and actuals ... i´m assuming actuals will "sleep" longer due to the yadda-yadda i just talked about.  ;D

About the Million TRNG file, i have a degree in copy/paste ... lol ... so i will have it done soon. Thing is i don´t have much time to do it right away.

I have about 100.000 and counting  [smiley=4/construction.gif]

Have a great day.

Tangram

Hi Wildcard,

It's an interesting theory but I believe there would be very little difference between the tests (TRNG and actuals). However it will be interesting to have this confirmed (or otherwise), so let me know when you have collected the spins from random.org, and I'll upload my spins file.  ;)
