Hi everybody!

There is one question following me recently.

What is the purpose of the privet section?

Who decides who can have access to it and who doesn't?
Why some people can see whole forum and some can share research in privet section?
What forum is about? Sharing or controlling information flow?

I will appreciate if some one will tell me something about this section, because it looks a little bit dodgy...

Best regards.

The things you learn.
I didn't even realize there was a Privet Section.
Perhaps had I kept all the post to a section in there.
I would not of received any of the flack from my posts.

Yes Thomas, there is Privet Section, you can see it on main page of the forum, although only chosen ones have
access to it.

It's sad that no-one wants to at least say a word about it...

Hi trylobit,

It's quite natural that members of such forum would gather and form small private research groups. If it wasn't allowed here, they would still do it in other places like flickr and facebook, but Victor was generous enough to propose hosting those groups here in his forum.

If it's private then there must be reasons why it is so.

Examples:
- Keeping certain information under the casinos' radars, as is the case with professional wheel bias play etc.
- Maintaining a small but dedicated number of members, allowing for an efficient work-flow, away from public disturbances with regards to the groups' style of play/research.
- Let's face it, some people here just want a free lunch, a few others just disturb, whilst others dedicate a lot of time from their own personal lives to testing and researching. These three groups/types of members will always exist, it's human nature. Now why shouldn't people of the third group meet and form small private groups for the serious work, while still posting in the main public forum. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with that.

Regarding the topic of 'sharing':

Sharing and helping is good, I'm always willing to do that, but I honestly can't "do the work" for anyone.
The thing is, people who complain about other people 'not sharing enough' and possibly hiding some magical method from them are usually those who are stuck in the constant search for a free solution, a mechanical HG; those who spend time browsing forum pages looking for it to be handed to them. (How do I know? I used to be ONE OF THEM, heheheh)

It simply is not going to happen. All you can expect is some guidance and pointing towards the right direction of research from those rare individuals who do have the knowledge and experience.

Both reliable ways to capitalize on the game (advantage play and reading randomness) need a lot of work and practice.

Also, if an "easy and playable by anyone" consistently winning method gets published, then don't kid yourself and think casinos won't take the necessary counter-measures to stop it. They are businesses like any other businesses going through financially tough times, and they will do all to protect their revenues.

The point is, you can't (for instance) blame a professional wheel bias player for "not sharing enough" in a public forum, it should be totally understandable.

Regards,
Marven

Hi trylobit.

That's not true as I said something about some days ago = on: June 28, 2009 Australian Time.

There will be plenty said about in the next week or so Mate...My mother is My Priority at the Moment.

There are also plenty of Members who test things off site as well Mate.

Plus the fact that the Mods have to have this all explained to them 1st.

As there was all but one of the agreements with other parties were made before I and Sam were appointed Co-Administrators.

And I have made reference to that a few days ago.
Also You will see from that link that some of those boards are very old but there were agreements made that have to be honored .

here is the link  nolinks://vlsroulette.com/general-board/my-take-on-'private-sections'/msg68172/#msg68172

All I ask is a some days to work it all out and where we will go with with Votes..Polls etc.

Lanky.

I must agree about few things with you Marven.
I am very grateful for this forum, as it was the light in darkness of martingale for me.
I came looking for systems, I found knowledge and people.

I don't know what side to take about privet section... There are arguments on both sides.

I will just stay on the forum, it is up to the founders and administrators witch way it will go.
It is a slippery topic...

Best regards.
