Table limits were mentioned earlier in this thread. Bet Voyager's table limits are very generous, and my concern is that the systems in the bot depend on getting a good spread between the lowest and highest stakes. This together with the fact that there is no house edge is IMO what the bot relies on. That's fine but this could easily change in future.

Has the bot ever been tested on "normal" casinos where the house edge is in effect and the table limits are more realistic?

Hi Tangram, yes the BOT is designed to take advantage of the zero house edge, however it does not rely on this or a large bet spread to be effective.

One of the systems are assisted with the higher table limits, however the other three systems (one of which works flat betting) are not influenced by the available table limits.

We are also planning to support more than just Bet Voyager in the near future, most likely a live dealer casino. Of course the BOT won't be as effective when you play the single zero game -  this is simple math, however the ideas were spawned on the single zero table, worked well on the single zero table, then incorporated to the no zero game where they were even better.

Cheers

You will have to excuse my playing style at times.
I can be a little neurotic and prone to some self doubts at times.
Here is a perfect example.

$1.06c

I could just let it keep going.
Matt tells me to let it just ride.
And it will all work out fine.

Then when you watch it play.
You tend to get ansy.
Prone to doubts.
And questions.

That is why Matt suggested to go and get out of the house.
Do something else. If your the nervous type.
Then this bot may not suit you.

So, what to do?
DONT Watch it.
Do something else.
Get out and enjoy what life has to offer.
Smell the roses.
Take the dog for a walk.
Go for some fresh coffee.
Take in a movie.
Go for a swim.

Or set it up while your away working at your job.
Set a profit target. Or not. Depending how long your going to be away for.

I sure hope Tiago can update this version soon.
So we wont have to wait so long during game play.

Anyway, those are some thoughts to think about.

Number Six

What is your profit now...€27...$35 after conversion? So you've almost doubled your deposit, this is all good and well but it's only a 12.5% return on your total investment of $280 to get the bot up and running. Seeing a buck here and there is pointless. Get back to us when you've got at least a 700% return on investment. And tell us how how long it takes, to see whether it is worth doubling our electricity bills to let this bot run for hours and hours.

Well, that is your opinion.
And your entitled to it.
But if I did it that way.
People could say and will say.
That I doctored the accounts some how.
Or transferred funds into it.
Or whatever other excuse that people will have.
This way, you can see after each play.
What I am up to.
How I did.
What little gains or big gains I did.
I said from the start.
That I would try to keep a accurate account of what was going on.
It will be a personal journal.
Put on public display.
For those that are interested in how it is going.

I will of course show exactly what system I have chosen to play.
At the moment, I am sticking to even bets.
Seems best for a small start up.

Thomas and Matt

Two things:

1.  When I logged onto BV for the first time the limits were .01 to 300 on ALL propositions.  Now it goes from .01 to 100 up to .01 to 1000.  Thomas, you may check this by clicking on the little sign to the right of the wheel on the felt where it says "Table of payouts and bets".  I would appreciate you checking yours and letting us know.

Aside:  If anyone else can log on to BV, please check.

2.  In the event that software for switching desktops does not work, here's what does.  Note that after the "spin" is clicked, the whole rectangular box goes green?  While this is happening, your mouse is free.  Move it quickly and hit "pause".  Now the turn you're on will complete and then it will "pause".  Now you can minimize your casino screen and the bot screen.  You may now work in another area.  When you are finished, just maximize those two screen and click "resume".

I am going to use your exact settings and try for the exact results.

Not sure if I am using any settings at the moment Sam.

As for the table limits.
Here I managed to capture them.

To paraphrase Matt:

Even chances, all three clicked.  Bet .02, reset at .20, profit goal 10.00.

No?

Ohh yeah.
Those settings.
You may notice I don't always follow advice.
ROFL...

So Sam, have you managed to set up a REAL account?

And if so, then perhaps you could let the other Yanks know how you did it.

Also, would be great to have someone else post in here their results with the bot.

Then again.
We could be accused of being in collusion.
That is if we haven't been accused of it already.

Then again...
Who gives a toss what others think.
They can make there own mind up.

That is if they have one.

thomasgrant

$27.51c in a day.
I started using the bot on the 15 of Apr 09 at 3 minutes past 1 am.
Have a look at the fist picture.
I posted this when I started the journey.
The last picture or should I say the current picture.
Was taken at 9.30 pm on the 15 of Apr.
The next few pictures I do.
Will be over a greater period.
As I have work to do over the weekend.
So as I go of to work.
I will leave the bot running.
And see what results I get when I return.
:)

When you consider that amount.
That aint half bad for a days work.
Well, if you could call it work.

A bit of stress.
With anxiety thrown in.
And a few panic attacks.

Will see how things pan out.

Thomas

I am betting play money still.

Sam

Ahh, dam...
No way you can get yourself a real account then?
Not even if you use a proxy?
Or a go between.?

I could make an offer for you.
But that would stink of some sort of conspiracy.

Plus, I am not even sure it will work.

Up to you.

Oh nice answer, very clever and interesting, without a doubt.

Are you killing me ? It's a software, not a metal bot lol.

I know why you don't like bot now, you thinked it was a metal one in front of your computer, taking your place !

As you, I don't want this kind of bot too...  :-X

This is no bull!  Jay Leno say McDonald's is experimenting with robots to take your order and serve you.

"You want fries with that?"
