Hi Guys,

Just been logged on to a Microgaming Casino....

Their roulette limits on the "live" wheel are 0.50 / 10

Yet on their RNG roulette you can use a 50 unit chip ??

So why the difference??

It implies to me that the RNG can be "fixed" and therefore the higher limit.....

While the "live" wheel is lower because it can be beat...... 8)

As normal I'm probably talking hogwash... But hey maybe, just maybe I'm right.....[smiley=3D-gal/36_1_37.gif]

Man with Fez on Head....

That is one of the best questions I've seen about RNGs.

Answers?

Just a thought Sammy...

I have them every so often..... ;)

good point xman,, may i ask which microgaming casino you were using as the 10 max on a .50 table seems an exceptionaly low ceiling anyway?
cheers

There are quite a few with a 0.50 / 10 limit the one a was looking at was canbet.com  ;)

Good point. I guess a computer (RNG) is perfect (creating a better random sequence), where a table isn't.

But hey, maybe RNG's are fixed. The computer looks $100 is played $2.7 (european) is payed out.

Come on guys......

Some of you out there MUST have an opinion on this.....

Yes, it raises alot of questions indeed.  I wish I had something to add to this XMan, but I'm as baffled as the rest.  Just makes me glad I don't play RNG.

I'm not saying they are fixed Matty, but surely IF they weren't, the max chip size would be the same????

Herb

It's because the casino knows that the RNGs will behave more random like than a live game will.

Real wheels are subject to wear and tear.  Dealers can effect the game somewhat as well.  This particular casino may know their wheel isn't in the best shape.

The RNG is a safer game for the casino when big money is involved.

my view is that RNGs are like slotmachines.. they take more than they give :) it is all computer software :)

OK, it's too soon to weigh in on that RNG test I'm doing.....but.......if I laid that sheet among the ones from WJL, I could not tell the difference.  It even stopped hitting the dead numbers on my "force the spin" bet.

I am told by the owner of the account that this is a truly fair RNG casino.

@ Herb

Makes sense to me a different type of random, less predictable...... ???

@Boo_Ray

Anything reason NOT to play them....... 8)

@Sam

Could I ask which casino you are playing at pls Sam??

Simple answer...

RNG cheaper to operate.
RNG faster so fools lose faster.
