Hello everyone- I am new to the forum but have been a Roulette player for 10 years. Let me say one thing about RNG, never never never play with it. The script is designed for one thing only, to take your money. It has a memory script which pays a little to get your confidence up and then bang it takes it all. If you play for $.10 a bet it will pay you but anything over $1 look out. And the higher your bet the more you lose. The funny thing is they try and convince you that it is legal and fair which it is not!

Let's forget about online casinos for a moment, and speak about land-based ones.
The ones which has a single RNG, and 10-12 terminals.

We see many virtual roulette machines on real casinos.
The governments won't allow fixed machines on a casino, do they?

Why would a casino & machine manufacturer risk their license, reputation going for a quick buck - in a mathematically perfect game?

yet, I see many RNG machines have high-limits, sometimes even closer to the ones in VIP tables.
I don't know why is that. But, certainly we can't conclude the RNGs are fixed based on table limits.

Think it's a different type of "random" 787 a less traceable one.....  :-[

As for on-line RNG I will personally NEVER play them.... :o

Roulette 787- I do not mean any disrespect but "come on"! Who regulates the online casinos and their RNG results? Who, the casino industry itself. Do you really think their independent auditors are in fact independent, come on? Don't let them kid you that they are not bias. How in the world can you think their so called "policing" is fair, correct or honest? How can you believe a company that educates you in how to play the game correctly and then takes your money is fair??? I have been a gambler for 28 years and I have seen and learned a lot. Have you or anyone you know seen the print out of the results of their RNG testing?? Of course not. Their results and payouts are based on millions or billions of spins. Something you or I will never see in our life time! How many people do you know win consistently on the RNG, I would venture to guess little to none!!!

My opinion is this. RNG in landbased casinos are not classified as table games but as slot machines. So by law they are allowed to get their programmed profit margin, the same as per slots. So if a slot machine pays out 97%, well they are by law allowed to set that RNG (so called) up to that same margin. All because it's classified as slots.

About online casinos. All the online casinos where I have played as soon as you play RNG you have your own personalized RNG setup. If they were not crooked why don't they have say 3 or 4 RNG wheels which caters for all (or one for that matter, lol) That way it's RNG, but it has thousands of users playing the same results, so cheating is not so simple. Yes I suppose it could calculate wich numbers would pay out most on a particular spin after bets are placed and then produce a number which would be the best scenario for the casino.

And yeah I am rambling away..............let's just stick to live!

Cheers

As you know their are RNG with multi-player wheels. I like them because they are faster.

See you tonight my friend

My view on the RNG, is that the randomness between that & the live wheel are much the same, so how could the Casino cheat????

The way i see them "possibly" cheating is by tracking the progression, confirming to a certain extent what carib711 is saying. Once you progress, the software could deviate the hits away from your bets.

Possibly the second way, is for the software to learn how you play, rendering all you winning playing systems ineffective in future sessions.

So what if we did this to confirm some suspicions.

With the Playtech RNG, you can have a group session of 4 players on 1 table, called Private Group. From what i understand of it, 4 players can play on the same RNG table as long as they all know the Group name to join in.

So if we had 4 players playing at the same time, communicating through the table chat or Skype, using  a similar system, with different progressions, this could identify if the RNG is avoiding the higher progressions and sticking to the low bets or uncovered numbers.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Hi MX-
I like your idea about group play. We need to pick a script for all who want to test. We also need people in different parts of the world to test out these ideas. Another theory of mine that revolves around testing the RNG is: results in various locations in the world, as well as time of day, amount of money in your acct. when you start playing, size of bets and time of day. All of these factors are important for future analysis and testing of the RNG! Without these  factors you are comparing apples to oranges and will never figure out how to combat the RNG.
