Title: Threaten to go to the press?
Post by: Mr J on December 14, 2011, 10:25:55 PM
I've wondered about this for a long time. I do NOT want this to be an arguement between AP and method players, I could careless about that aspect. Lets say you are doing well for months at your local casino(s) regardless of the game etc.

You are brought aside and threatened to be BANNED from the casino. I know they can ban you for 'whatever' reason they choose, thats fine. What about threatening BACK and saying you'll go to the press and tell them your sour story about how certain non-cheating customers are not welcomed.

I would think a LOUSEY story on the local news or the newspaper would really get the casino to think twice about the ban? Not saying I'm right, its only my opinion.

Casinos probably wouldnt think of the lost business, and in all likelihood they probably wouldnt lose much business, if any. Online casinos are quite different though, where a bad reputation can affect a lot of decisions and long term revenue.

will they threaten u? i've heard stories they just bluntly ban u and that's it. i am not sure how much u win but as soon they see u as pro AP they may ban u right away as much as i understand. is it right?

"see u as pro AP" >>> or a method player? I repeat, I dont want to make this into an AP/methods debate.

Banning almost never happens. What they do is try to figure out what you are doing, and what they need to do to make you either lose or leave. This is the case with any method, any game.

Different staff will tell you different things though. Like some computers players (stupidly) asked casino staff what they thought about it all. Some dont believe it. Some say they will ban people they find. And some said they know about it, but its so rare that its not a big problem. I'm NOT going on about AP. I'm just highlighting this because 'cheating devices' are the extreme case where you'd normally expect to be banned/charged or whatever.

But if you are winning by whatever other means, system play or whatever, and they cant figure it out and changes they made were not effective, only then would most casinos think about banning. But again every casino is different.

Steve, how much and frequently u should win to get attention? let's say u play once a 2 months and win roughly 1000 each. will they pay attention? what do u think is an optimal and safe "frequency" and amount of winning to be OK and not to draw heat and attention to yourself. what if u win big and lose small frequently as well?

thanx

Typically a casino will back you off a game, or restrict your play,
before they ban you. If you're winning too much at roulette,
for instance, they would limit your bets to the minimum amount.
Even if you do win, it won't be enough for them to care about.

Iggiv, I'm asked that all the time but rhe answer varies. At some casinos, $1000 and above requires ID before payment. At other casinos, $10,000 or above. Getting around cashing-in requirements for ID is easy enough though.

Dont use coloured chips, and you can afford to take more. Some casinos track larger transactions at the table.

Most successful players wont ever take something like $30k in one hit. But there have been instances of it, where the player makes comparatively large bets - like $1000 per spin. In such a case, one or two wins can easily be put down to luck in the casinos eyes, so that wont raise suspicion, provided you move to different casinos. It will still raise an eyebrow though and if the staff take your image and put you on file, it will be shared with other casinos... just in case. Then if you repeat a big win in another casino, that casino's staff may decide to check your face and/or name. then if they find a match, they may see what you won in some other casino, and notes about you. From then, they will likely watch you closely. In any company though, some people do and some dont do their job properly. The only people that know what is being tracked are the casino staff, but you can prevent detection by knowing what they do to find repeat winners.

Most players get results like: +$200, -$50, +$800,+$165,+$120,+$1900,+$45,+$650 etc and they only begin betting properly when they are sure of accuracy, then they leave after a short time. The correct way to do it is have one person to the calibrating (ie with a computer or whatever), and another the betting later. That way one unlucky loser keeps losing, and some lucky guy places a few lucky bets then leaves, perhaps to blackjack for a while to demonstrate he isnt exclusively roulette. That's another story - there is a lot to avoiding detection and its best not openly discuss it.

After much deliberation I decided to invest in this method for avoiding detection.

So far it has worked a treat.

if you are playing roulette. it should not make any difference to the casino who wins.theres a winner every spin. if the taBLE IS BEEN PLAYED THE CASINO WINS EVERY SPIN.

As they can ban you for ANY reason Ken, I would think your going to the press is ONLY going to pi$$ off ANY other casino you maybe looking to play at.......

After all, who wants a "troublemaker" right ?

Ken, I challenge you to watch your hot asian chicks video, and get 3 seconds into the video WITHOUT putting your hand down your pants OR picking up the phone to call an escort service. Go on, I dare you..

And Bombus.. the attached shows how would look like after the casino manager runs you over, just before he took the chips back.

its just luck if you win. i see players win three or four thousand on a spin. but you have to lay out a lot of money for this.  a few spins later they give it all back. the casino knows no system can beat roulette . i think that you are deluding yourself  if you think you can win on a regular basic. two women won 40000 at star city and were banned off they go to crown casino and lost the lot. i do not believe that any roulette table shows a loss  in a 24 hour period that all the casino cares about  profit.

It is not at all uncommon for a roulette table to show a loss for the night, with or without advantage players present. I know this from staff themselves. Also pins, you are dead wrong saying roulette cannot be consistently beaten. It is daily reality for my players and I. I honestly cant understand the big deal about it. Its really not that hard. Just that most people go about it the completely wrong way

i was at star city today they give away 5000 dollars every 15 minutes. 200.000 given away in one day. you would have to win a lot to get barred.

53k from 1k in a month. And the casino advertise it to all. Also it's live dealers.

"£53,000 Roulette Winner – September 2011

It was one hell of a lucky winning session for Jackie W who managed to turn her starting balance of less than £1,000 into a staggering £53,000."

Whats that smell? Cows? a horse? Oh I know what that smell is, its BULLSHIT. Obviously an AP. But then again I spose casinos would not advertise this :D

Ken, I don't believe casinos lie about recent big winners. They don't need to. Such a small and tedious lie could have MASSIVE impact on there reputation.

I think betfair, betfred, and bet365 use the same feed, playtech live european room.

Playtech also have a live asian room.
