Have any of you had heavy losses on systems that have tested over and over.  Has any loss (or set of losses) affected your attitude on the game? Changed your betting habits?

No heavy loss, but I am betting safer than I used to.

Hi Proofreaders2000, and all,

I and my friend Peter have been testing sooo many (too many) systems and they all end -2.7% of bankroll.
That, and what I know about probability and statistics, has totally changed everything I think about this game.
Changed slowly and with a lot of resistance, but changed.

I wrote about some of my thoughts not long ago (in a thread that is gone???) - that I think we MAKE the spins independent and thus we cannot use them to win, but instead we should look upon them as dependent: dependent on rotor-direction, dealer-change and more...

We have done some research on this, using the spins-file I posted (read in the "Actuals/Permanences" section) and I'm preparing some posts about it (and a tracker - maybe).
They will be posted soon but right now we have a lot of work to do and I have to give priority to food...
(And as I'm sitting here working 10 hours/day I want to spend some spare-time away from the computer)
