IMPORTANT bank roll question

Mr J

Sometimes I think I waste some of the members time, I dont really care about my time. I have a question that is VERY important and I am NOT out to embarrass anyone. Most will not answer this question.

On AVERAGE, what is your BR walking into the casino? Not the amount you wish you could bring. Not the amount you know you should bring. If your average is like $250, there's no need reading my threads. lol

The reason I ask, I'm trying to create more affordable progressions (if thats your thing) but I keep running into the SAME problem >>> Time is money! Using dollars as units, its difficult to understand why someone would be ok NETTING $29 after two hours of betting? Help me out here, give me some insight.  Ken

Spike

I have a question for you, Ken. How long is your average session?

Mr J

Somehow I knew you would be the first one here. Session? I dont bet with the same definitions. If I lose my entire BR, I go home. lol I can give an example I guess. For a 56 step progression (2 numbers) my average win is on the 33rd try. If you are more specific, I can answer better. So you won't answer MY question? Ken

Spike

The BR I take is meaningless, I have a positive expectation game. I can win with any amount, within reason.

gambling for me is a past time. i do not depend on gambing for my income. i would be sleeping in the park if i did. i take two or three hundred dollars and play for a few hours.  it is very relaxing as if i win or lose. the rent is paid the fridge is full. i have never met anybody who could live on gambling. the thing about roulette is no matter what system you use the day comes when you crash, good kluck,

Mr J

"I take two or three hundred dollars and play" >>> Now thats an answer, thank you.  "no matter what system you use the day comes when you crash" >>> I agree 10000000%. What about, if your method starts to tank, bail and keep whatever NET you made from it? Start working on a NEW method or try tweaking a method that worked well. One thing I have never said, I good method works for years and years.  Ken

You don't need a big bankroll - If you work the method with increase You can start with $300 first week 50% on average up per day - day 1 +$150; day 2 + $150; day 3 + $150; day 4 + $150; day 5 +150 total up $750.

The next week play double of the previous bet. If lose go done till $450 in total $300 start BR + $150 profit. Start from lower bet and work BR to profit. When double profit to BR increase units to double.

No progression - flat bet rules!

If progressions work rather wait for say 3 losing streaks and start to play. Why play progression if you know you might lose?

Usually I go to the casino with no less than 200 units. For $5 that would be like $1000.
If one has a winning system he can start low and after a few weeks he could double the bankroll and then (by doubling his unit size) double it again and again and again. If one has a winning system, one can turn a $1000 starting bankroll into $50,000 in a few months, by doubling the unit size when doubling the bankroll. Doubling bankroll and then doubling unit size gives exponential growth. It's like playing the even chances and let it ride, and winning all the time. That's why the most important thing is not how much you win per hour, but if you win consistently.

For serious play I take $4000, and leave $8000 at home.  That way if I lose the $4000, I can return at least twice before I'm out of the game. This particular strategy takes about five hours to complete a session, and nets about $700. I lose the four grand on average about once every ten sessions. It is a not for the faint hearted, no guts no glory type thing.

For fun play I take $500, ready to lose the lot, and continue until the free drinks make my play too sloppy (everything else too), and then I leave with whatever I've got.

Enjoy your roulette.

Mr J

"You don't need a big bankroll" >>> Absolutely TRUE but I have no interest bringing home $200. I might as well stay in bed.  Ken

It is funny, but you knock your price right.Today a friend played 3000 units and gain 5000 units profit equivalent 410 dollars, for us is lot of money equivalent 1 month work..but then again in your case if you made 200 dollars  every day,5 days 1000 dollars will that be not good enough for you??
Seykid.

Mr J

$410, thats cool. 1K over 5 days? No thanks. Alot of my NET wins (one day) are $800-2K. Ken

I lose the four grand on average about once every ten sessions.>>

My bankroll is 50 units, flat-betting, one unit per bet.
