Hi Guys,
                We all know that a Bricks & Mortar Casino will happily give you a pen & paper for you to write down numbers.....

What happens when you bring in your own "charts" I assume that they still "allow" that.....

What happens when you win, and let's say big using your "charts"

Can & will they take your charts away from you??

Looking for USA & Uk answers were possible.....

each spin is independent of any spin that has gone before. star city in sydney will let you use any graphs you care to make. most casinos will welcome you with open arms. the trouble with systems is the wheel will not do what it should. avoid cold numbers like the plague. wait till you start winning big. then let me know what the casino does. good luck

I've tried many ways to play & no doubt many more.......


I just wanted to know of people's experience of using charts / graphs or whatever they may use.....

IF they have won & then been told they cannot use what they have brought in.....

In every USA casino I have ever played you could bring whatever you cared to use at both bac and roulette.  The only determining factor would be how much table space you take up if the table is crowded.

A game supervisor at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and I were chit chatting after he invited me to sit at his bac table while I was standing up and recording outcomes (not playing).  Over the course of an hour or so he related several stories about system players and in one he told me about a player who came with a brief case and pulled out 3 legal pads plus some sort of chart and was constantly writing and reading and flipping pages on his pad.  In the end, the guy said, the player lost very large. 

It has been my experience they will tolerate almost anything as long as you are respectful to the other players (should there be any) as far as your table space footprint goes and you do not slow up the game.

You can write in most casinos.  There are a few where they will not allow it at all, and then there are some that will let you do it for just a day or two.

Laying out charts and sheets on the table:  Dumb idea.  Everyone will laugh at you.

It's also like showing your hand in poker.  If you really did have the edge and were winning, then why on Earth would you display what you're doing?

Appearances matter in the casino.  If you must write, then use the roulette cards that they give you.   Leave the charts and graphs at home.

I see folks with cheat sheets all the time.  Mostly they are merely folded typewriter/printer paper and more often than not hand written (vs. printed out).

I carry all my betting plans plus a handful of progressions and payouts for same in a 3" x 5" Mead Memo pad.  Fits in any pocket.  Nice to have blank pages as well to record roulette numbers or use as a scratch pad for quick math.

There are a few casinos in one U.S. state that will not allow BJ strategy cards on the table during actual play but you can consult them between deals or step away from the table if you sit out a hand.  A mis-interpretation of the the state gaming law.  And also strange since their gift shop sells them.

Who cares if folks "laugh."  I have never seen that.  Personally, I may have an inward grin when I see someone losing their ass while constantly consulting their cheat sheet but it would be rude to do that openly. 

Oh, and be sure to note that the eye in the sky may well zoom in on your cheat sheets if you are doing well.

The best place for any cheat sheet is to put it under the cellophane of a cigarette pack.  When you pull it out of your pocket no one will notice you eyeballing your data. And if you do not smoke....pretend you do....if you want to be inconspicuous.

I don't like the bac scorecard so I bring in my own notebook and pen and pencil. I win regularly for over two year now, and they never give me trouble over this.

I have been asked to remove my note pad from the table. The manager said, I can use their papers but anything from home should not be kept on the table . So I went to  her supervisor and asked What is the difference between your paper and my paper, both are made up of cellulose? He said rules are rules. If you want to play just follow the rules . Then what I just left that table .

Very common. Try putting your cigarette pack on the table, they will tell you to remove it. Rules are rules.

My friendly neighborhood Indian Nation casion has an Dr. Jekyll  andMr Hyde  syndrome. At some tables  , usually with the older
croupiers no problem  but the  whipper snappers  want nothing on the table  .

Therefore I always ask them  ( old  or young) before and show them  the small note book which I just keep for record keeping and not to battle the table  with. That part is  between my ears.
