Hi, this wasn't my test but the link is here: nolinks://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gambling/betting-systems/1666-1-million-spins/

i found this very intriguing, he targeted a breakeven then reset progression. Not sure how many zeroes he was using but it's got me thinking. Since I have an account at betvoyager with no zero penny roulette figured i might test this myself but instead of targeting breakeven I would target the smallest amount of profit the next move would give me. I think it's funny how fast he got shot down by the other posters though, with a system like the d'alembert I never imagined it could ever go that relatively smooth over one million spins, breakeven or not.. especially with a zero pocket. I think targeting a breakeven or smallest profit possible, especially without zeroes might even help fight standard deviation wherein you might be able to reset before things possibly got out of hand. Just a thought though, could still go up in flames, hasn't passed the billion mark or anything yet! Hopefully this isn't old news to you guys, just wanted to bring in a different idea, and I certainly like the simplicity of it.

Haha wow, I just tested in RX the regular d'alembert for 170,000 spins, first without a zero, than with. 5 dollar min bet, set no table limit. With no zero ended at around 55,000 dollars up, had ups and downs, but overall was on an upward scrall. Highest bet was a bit under 500. With single zero there was a smooth downward bell curve, ended at negative 9 million, highest bet was over 4 grand!  :haha: Sorry just thought it was an interesting tidbit, never actually tested the regular alembert for that long on a zero wheel. It also certainly makes that breakeven system look almost mouthwatering! Relatively speaking of course.  :pleasantry:

[EDIT - Sorry not 4 grand bet but over 4000 units, the dollar amounts are correct though :)]
