Hi Guys  ;)

I remember ages ago somebody at GG stating that they bet Black or Red so Dealer Signature cannot destroy whatever system you maybe playing.....

You know what I'm saying as the numbers are B/R/B/R etc it doesn't matter where on the wheel the ball lands......

So what if we were to bet 18 single numbers instead ?? Any 18 of your choice ???

Do you think it is the same as betting Even Chances ???

I know it's a strange question & I hope I've explained it well enough...  :-[

Many thx to anybody who takes the time to reply.....

Hi xman,

Assuming that the selection of the 18 numbers is random, I had to vote for no. I don't believe any difference will be made on the long run from betting any static EC's such as Red/Black.

However, if the selection of the 18 numbers is based on dealer signature, wheel bias, hot numbers and such, then a difference may be seen.

That's what I think.

Cheers,
Marven

Marven,

Agreed! Just one more thing...

- betting on even chances = 1 unit
- betting on eighteen numbers = 18 units

Well, it depends on table limits, but you see my point.

Take care,
m

Indeed mistarlupo.
That's to be considered as well.

Depending on your opinion if spins are independent. If you say yes, the bet is different the change is the same.

Hi,

I assume that the single-number selection is based on the numbers - not physics like dealer/bias/etc

I vote for "the same".

I reason like this:
Suppose my single-number selection IS the 18 red numbers.
Then it's exactly the same as betting the outside Red.

If I move one chip to a black number - will that change anything compared to the all-red bet?
In my view it doesn't.

And if I move ONE MORE chip to a black number - will that change anything?
If I move YET ANOTHER chip to a black number - will that change anything?

If I move ALL chips to ALL black numbers - that's again exactly the same as betting the outside Red.
(In this context :))

Can there be any difference, compared to the intermediate (mixed) bets?
I don't think so.
