Have just "logged on" to play @ spielbank only to be told that as of 1st Jan 2008 they can no longer offer their online games due to new gaming laws ?

I think that the just gonna follow the Dutch Goverment, online gambling is illegal in the Netherlands.
By that i mean that only 'holland casino' can offer online gambling wich the don't.
The solution is very simpel you just put your server, well lets say in Malta, and then you can run your casino from the netherlands, but you don't fall under dutch law.
I think the same kind of thing is happening at Spielbank, as a said before the dutch goverment is for 75% co-owner of holland casino    go figure.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=embarassed.gif]

Looking through google looks like the Germans have decided to take the same stance as the USA

According to a news item at the "BILD on-line "as of January 1st, 2008  on- line  gambling became  a thing of  the past in Germany. A new  lottery law taking effect Jan 1st  2008.

I heard on an news item that Holland Casino can start offering Online gambling. I think they will do so. Only needs some time.


But this law is an load of crap!! Who decides were i going to gamble, the law or me. It's the same, if i would buy an car from other country. Or if i would go on holiday. Does the law say were i must go on holiday. It is just an shame that people do not stand up because if they did then it would be clear it is just cencorship.....

Yes CPS10, they do   I can still "log on" to their website and print out numbers to test with....
