Title: Noob: need help with money management.
Post by: Crush on August 18, 2010, 12:17:11 PM
Hi, I'm playing a system I read about years ago that deals with black red.  It will win when used with the Martingale money management however with a $1 bet and $250 table limit at Doyle casino, that means you can only lose about 4-5 times in a row before you bust.  That's what happened to me last night.

My problem is that when the below trends occur, I will lose all my money (as what happened last night) if I use the martingale system of money management.

Red Black

I like the system, but I need a better money management technique.  Or maybe a new system that is more reliable that everyone here is playing?

I've tried to read the systems on the forum and don't understand any of them.  I use Doyles Online Casino for playing.

Hi mate, it is "roulette 101" to avoid the martingale.

Try using slower progressions, and even positive ones (+1 unit on a win).

Read the forums and you'll find some techniques. Stay open and don't restrict yourself to the even chances, there are  more options at the higher-paying locations.

A good advice to newcomers is to avoid betting for real money until you have a system that proves "fair".

You can also do good by using automated testing software such as Roulette Xtreme from UXsoftware.

Regards and I hope you find what you are looking for!

The bane of EC betting.

Good luck, Crush.
