Title: Introduction
Post by: crabhunter on March 12, 2014, 03:50:10 PM
Hi everyone, my name's Mike and I've been playing Roulette off and on for about ten years.
It all started when for some unknown reason I read one of those junk e-mails that I normally bin without even opening.
It detailed the martingale system using a multiplier of 2.5 and to me it seemed too good to be true.
I immediately signed up to an online casino (not the one advertised) and spent the next hour watching my earnings go up and up.
I then had to go out, so I left clear instructions with my wife as to what to do while I was gone.
When I got home she was in a state, had lost the lot and we could't work out why.
It soon became clear why it didn't work.
But I was hooked, not so much on the game but the fact there was a system that maybe could work.
Most of my play since has been on play money as I have tweaked the way I choose my bets.
I have made five visits to a real casino and am currently £2 down.
I have a few ways of choosing what to bet on and this has made my bankroll last a lot longer, maybe one day it will last forever lol.
I will shortly put up a post requiring some methods but for now I just wanted to introduce myself.
Mike

What sort of crabs do ya hunt Mike ? I have all sorts of visions of that from the obscene (magnifying glass in hand) to the great white hunter stealthing through the muddy tidal mangroves with trusty pointed stick spear at the ready.

Your doing well being being ONLY 2 quid down after 5 REAL casino visits. That's a 40p (80 cent average) per visit. I'm down about 75 quid equivalent ($150) in that same time frame & that's just for drinks without calculating any game play profit or loss.

As to the wife's losing play session, are you still married ?  Your experiences would due justice to an episode on any quality soap opera show.

I don't so much hunt them to eat (although I do like crab) as to watch them.
I scuba dive and they're the things I try to spot and observe. I get just as much fun rock pooling for them as well.
The scene has changed, everyone's a fish hugger now and gets upset when you bring things ashore.
As for my Casino result of £2 down that doesn't include drinks although we try and get the freebies.
It also doesn't include the money I give to my wife to play with whilst I'm playing.
But I've treated our nights out to the casino as entertainment and you have to put a price on that.
Look out for my next post where I'll outline my strategy and ask for tips on improving it.
Mike
