Title: Does anyone have an average for this?
Post by: Mr J on August 14, 2010, 08:06:12 PM
I'm working on a kick a** method. I could do this research on my own but perhaps someone knows already. Then again, I really doubt it. lol My question being >> I need to know WHEN the average would be (how many spins) a complete street hits. Any street, in any order. Such as 17, 16, 18. I do NOT mean the three numbers hit back to back to back. Here is a true example >>

12
35
34
7
0
13
22
10
3
29
19
4
11 <<<<< So, its the 10, 11, 12 street. When does this average occure? My question is for the 0 or 00 wheel, I dont care.  Thanks,  Ken

I have no definitive answer for what the average would be, but I'll take an educated guess and say somewhere around 50.

WOW, I was thinking like half of that.  Ken

Probability says each number should show once every 37 spins. With a 3 number street your first number hits on spin 1. Now Probability says your second number should hit once in the next 37 spins. To keep it average, let's say your second number hits on spin 18. Now Probability says your third number should hit once in the next 37 spins. To keep it average, let's say your third number hits on spin 37.

1+18+37=56 -  Using average hit rates your street completed in 56 spins.

Well it might not be 50, but there's no way it will be less than 37, IMO.

Ok Mr j,

I get it now.

My average was for all the streets to complete. :-[

The first street to complete will of course be much less. Probably around 20 as you suggest.

The reason I gave my average for all the streets is because you never know which street will complete first, so you could find yourself betting on almost every street before any one completes.

No, thats cool. I appreciate you helping out. Thats why I ask questions on multiple boards.  Ken

If correct, it could be an interesting point that between the first street (average) 18 or so spins, and all the streets (average) 56 or so spins, we have many streets completing within the next 38 spins after the first street completes.

Yep, I'm working on a method as we speak (type). I love the challenge.  Ken

hi mt j,
hi bombus.

just a quick message for know.
im not sure about the average mate. id say around 18th spin
is there a way we could maybe calculate the bet some how.?
as soon as the first street hits we find out the spin number lets say spin 16 until we got the first street hit. this is normal from my point of view so only bet the unhits with normal 1 units.
examples
1st full street hit=
below 18 spins - play unhits with 1 units
19--25 spins - play un hits with 2 units
26--32 spins - play unhits with 3 units
33 +spins - play unhits with 5 units

STOP BETTING WHEN
reached a spin target???//reached 7 full streets??// or reached a profit traget ????

thanks MR J, and I agree thats its worth a propper look into streets become full.

"Thanks MR J, and I agree thats its worth a propper look into streets become full" >>> Well, its not what I'm doing but you could have a point.  Ken

This is from Bayes, looks correct >>

Ken,

Here is the breakdown over 1 M trials. Numbers in the left column are how many spins it took for a street to hit, and those in the right are how many times that wait occurred (so the total in the right hand column sums to 1 million).

The most frequent wait was actually 17, but the AVERAGE was higher because of the lack of symmetry (as you can see from the graph, there is a skew to the right).
