Title: Question about progression on 6 squares/corners
Post by: johnyenglish on August 12, 2008, 07:13:56 PM
Hi guys,

I decided to try a little bit the system of placing 1 unit to the corners of 1,2,4,5  &  8,9,11,12  &  13,14,16,17  &  20,21,23,24  &   25,26,28,29  &  32,33,35,36. So I was thinking about progression on loosing and made some calculations which made me kind of afraid:-)

ok, so here it is:
BET,TOTAL BET,TOTAL LOSS,WIN,TOTAL WIN
6x1,6,6,9,3
6x3,18,24,27,3
6x10,60,84,90,6
6x30,180,264,270,6
6x90,540,804,810,6
now this is loosing 5 times in a row and the total chips are 804!!! And when you think that it is betting on only 24 numbers having 5 times loss is very likely.

so I was wondering if you can give me an advice? maybe to use this system ONLY with flat bets, without progression?

thanks

p.s. I saw some error in my calculation, in the column total loss, so I applogise but nevertheless do you think progression should be applied to this system?

That is a lot of numbers to cover, much like 2 dozen. In fact, you could lower your progression to:

1-3-9-27-81 instead of 1-3-10-30-90

which gets you to:

6x1 = 6
6x3 = 18 (24 total)
6x9 = 54 (78 total)
6x27 = 162 (240 total)
6x81 = 486 (726 total)

From the sticky:

4 corner bets progression

1 - 2 - 4 - 7 - 12 - 22... on each corner.
