Hi to all on the forum

Thanks for a great, informative and helpful website!

Can anyone suggest a soft progression for 5 lines (double streets) Have looked at recovery on the dozens/ columns but just wish to play the lines for now and maybe look back at those at a later time.

Many thanks in advance

Gladeve, [smiley=welcome/welcome.gif] to the family once again.

I do not suggest a progression for 5 lines. For the standard explosive one, you must use x6 as multiplier:
1, 6, 36, 216. Quite a rapidly growing martingale; not advisable at all.

Shall you wish to consider a progression for a very short-term-play attack, then only use an "up as you win" and after a loss, go back to 1 unit. After a new win, rise the higher end of your bets +1, just like the binary progression which keeps a counter for the higher bet, rising it on a win, but protects from the long string of losses by returning to minimum initial bet after a loss.

Best regards,
Your friend.

Thanks Victor for the advice and for the warm welcome back  :)

Took some time out from Roulette and am now back! Spent a fantastic New Year in Vegas and it was such a buzz to be amongst the thick of it as here in the UK there are no comparisons!

Will be keeping a close eye on the board and will be looking forward to some testing and hopefully posting some results!

I am astounded and so happy to see how much this forum has grown from when I was last here! It looks like an ever growing community! keep up the good work all!!

I would say that you need to make sure that your unit count is large enough on the first bet to make it worth your while on the next bets...in other words, you will need to start with 10 units per line (50 units in all), take the win, and lower your bet back down to 1 unit per line (5 total units). That way, you are guaranteed at least 5 units in profit provided that you win the first bet. I would probably also wait until there is a loss in your 5-line strategy before beginning to bet. In other words, if you are betting on the 5 lines that DID NOT show in the last spin, you should wait until there is a repeat line before betting for real. Stay virtual until that happens. AND...you will want to hedge your bet with the 0/00. 1 unit there will keep you safe in the event of the unfortunate disaster on your first real money bet.

cps10, so as far as the 0/00 we would do the following on the first strategic bet:
We are only hedging the 0/00 on the first bet, or the first bet of every series or every bet ?

Euro Wheel first bet or first series bet: +10u bet on 5 lines not last & 2u bet on 0 = 52 unit bet total and if win= a 5 line= 8u gain, but if win=0=20u gain

Amer Wheel first bet or first series bet: +10u bet on 5 lines not last & 2u bet on 0 & 00 = 54 unit bet total and if win= a 5 line= 6u gain, but if win=0 or 00=18u gain

That would always be on the first bet. As for the American wheel, you could actually use a 3u bet on the 0/00 split, therefore laying out 53, and then getting 7u for the win on a line, and 1u gain on the win for the split. Just depends on which you prefer. But I would always hedge the zero(s) because even on a wager after an L, the Zero is unaccounted for and could arise at any time since it is not tracked.
