Hi guys,

Most of you probably know "Carsch" from GamblersGlen. He made some awesome progression systems, and I though I would post my favorite. I take no credit of course. This could be applied to any even money bet in roulette. If we mixed it with Lanky's LW play; we might have a real winner here. Anyway, check it out:'

Progression: 1-1-2-3-4-6-9-14-21-32 (you may extent this progression
if so desired).

Progression Details

Bets
Units----Invested---Profit-------------------Profit after Repeat
1-------------1----------1
1-------------2----------0------Repeat bet if win---------1
2-------------4----------0------Repeat bet if win---------2
3-------------7--------(-1)-----Repeat bet if win---------2
4------------11--------(-3)----Repeat bet if win---------1
6------------17--------(-5)----Repeat bet if win---------1
9------------26--------(-8)----Repeat bet if win---------1
14-----------40-------(-12)---Repeat bet if win---------2
21-----------61-------(-19)---Repeat bet if win---------2
32-----------93-------(-29)---Repeat bet if win---------3

Although there is 10 steps in this progression, an infinte number of
hands could be played until we reach the last progression (32units) on
the chart.

After a loss and then a win, to qualify a win as a profit, you must w
in twice in a row. There is however no parlay with this one system.

Except for the first bet, while following the progression, after a wi
n and then a loss, you cannot move to the next step in the progression
until you lose twice in a row. Ex: Lose the first hand then win the s
econd hand. Next, you must repeat this same bet in order to qualify wi
th a profit. Let's say you lose the third hand. Next, you will have to
repeat this same bet until you either win twice in a row to finish wi
th the progression, or you lose twice in a row in orther to move on to
the next step in the progression ladder.

So, if you happen to alternatively lose and win a hand (Lose,Win,Lose
,Win,Lose,Win,Lose), you cannot lose or win anything until you lose or
you win twice consecutively.

Here is an example with some spins from a roulette wheel.

We will bet always on the same color that won last.

W=win
L=lose

00-----------------------does not qualify
32(Red)----------------next we bet 1 unit on Red
12(Red)---W(+1)----next we bet 1 unit on Red
25(Red)---W(+2)----next we bet 1 unit on Red
4(Black)--L(+1)----next we bet 1 unit on Black
23(Red)---L(0)-----next we bet 2 units on Red
35(Black)-L(-1)----next we bet 3 units on Black
31(Black)-W(+2)----next we Repeat the same bet
00(Zero)--L(-1)----next we Repeat the same bet*
34(Red)---L(-4)----next we bet 4 units on Red
12(Red)---W(0)-----next we Repeat the same bet
29(Black)-L(-4)----next we Repeat the same bet(on Black)
24(Black)-W(0)-----next we Repeat the same bet
2(Black)--W(+4)----next we bet 1 unit on Black
20(Black)-W(+5)----next we bet 1 unit on Black
4(Black)--W(+6)----next we bet 1 unit on Black
25(Red)---L(+5)----next we bet 1 unit on Red
15(Black)-L(+4)----next we bet 2 units on Black
6(Black)--W(+6)----next we Repeat the same bet
10(Black)-W(+8)----next we bet 1 unit on Black
24(Black)-W(+9)----next we bet 1 unit on Black
32(Red)---L(+8)----next we bet 1 unit on Red
8(Black)--L(+7)----next we bet 2 units on Black
25(Red)---L(+5)----next we bet 3 units on Red
34(Red)---W(+8)----next we Repeat the same bet
20(Black)-L(+5)----next we Repeat the same bet*(on Black)
18(Red)---L(+2)----next we bet 4 units on Red
28(Black)-L(-2)----next we bet 6 units on Black
20(Black)-W(+4)----next we Repeat the same bet
11(Black)-W(+10)---next we bet 1 unit on Black
16(Red)---L(+9)----next we bet 1 unit on Red
11(Black)-L(+8)----next we bet 2 units on Black
3(Red)----L(+6)----next we bet 3 units on Red
13(Black)-L(+3)----next we bet 4 units on Black
13(Black)-W(+7)----next we Repeat the same bet
3(Red)----L(+3)----next we Repeat the same bet* (on Red)
36(Red)---W(+7)----next we Repeat the same bet*
10(Black)-L(+3)----next we Repeat the same bet
26(Black)-W(+7)----next we Repeat the same bet
20(Black)-W(+11)---next we bet 1 unit on Black
8(Black)--W(+12)---next we bet 1 unit on Black
4(Black)--W(+13)---next we bet 1 unit on Black
30(Red)---L

We finished this session with a profit of +13 units.
The most we had to bet with our progression ladder was 6 units.

*This means you have to lose twice in a row to move to the next progr
ession. Also, you need to win twice in a row in order to end that prog
ression.

I can't believe it when I see people playing FTL on the colours using a martingale, it happens still.  And out comes the wallet, and out comes the ATM card, unbelievable.

Yes Mate that sure is a bad thing to see.
Like You I still see it as well.

I never said We were playing a Marty.

In gambler jargon we become virgin every time we lose the whole bankroll.

Well I read your post and I think this is fun, try to hit two in a row.

A thing do, why do you increse the bet size after two, when you can use a line like 1 1 1 1.

L 1 -1
L 1 -2
L 1 -3
w 1 -2
w 2 -0

So if you are going to build a progression, then maybe it could have a humbel start like 1 1 1 1 2 2 and at some point start to take a smaller loss as you progress futher and the end of the progression make it a 50/50 regain.

Its a tougt, regarding progressions that depends on winning two in a row.
But I know this. You dont need to win at every step using a progression to make a profit overall.

Hi Lucky,

I thin Carsch's other progression uses 1111. Ill try and find it on Gamblers Glen. GG, unfortuantely is not as fast and easy to navigate as VLS is lol.

Then you can go directly to D'Alembert special: loss + 1 unit , win -2 units. It helps when the game does not goes exactly our way.
Or Fibonacci 11235813213455 but go after win always to 1 unit (don't wait for 2 wins in row or in triple spin). It overcomes heavy downfalls and when the time improves you start to gain. Both strategies helped me 100 times.

At that time the "Star" was heavily discussed and he wanted to make a slight improvement on it which Carsch did (less investment) and then he came out with 3 or 4 more progressions that all revolved around a common theme. What was posted is one of them.

One nice thing about waiting for 2 wins or losses before moving up or down is your table play rating.  A few $5 craps players found that out when playing the Star and had a $25 bet up for many multiple decisions.  They were rated as $25 bettors for the session.  Of course that was in the "old days" when the Floor dude used a pen along with paper rating slips and only came by once every 45 minutes or so.

Old days? That was only a few years back.

I always like buying in at the blackjack table for $500 or so and have two $25 chips up on the table when the Pit Boss came around. Works like a charm. Then I scrape those off and go back to $5 chips.

The best way to exploit something like that though, is to go to a casino where there's a fun table, sit down, get to know him, have some laughs and later in the day, or trip, if you sit down with a wad, he will give you a lot of what you want. Or she...

lucky_strike

Quotehe will give you a lot of what you want

???

I dont get it! How are he or she going to give you a lot of you want?[smiley=3D-petit-anim-mod/36_9_1.gif]

Meaning even if you haven't played a whole heck of a lot that day, when you ask for a comp, he/she will be more willing to bury a comp for you. I've been in pits before where I sat down, pulled out $100, played red chips for 15 minutes or so, asked for a dinner comp, and a pit boss that I've yucked it up with has given it to me without question or looking up my rating.
