Title: How to fund online casinos
Post by: jsintl on October 30, 2009, 06:30:06 PM
Visa can no longer be used to fund online gaming account.

Any other option aside from bank transfer (very expensive).

Hello JSintl,

Are you in the US? This is vital information.

Outside of the US you have plenty of options.

When looking for wagering from within the states (I've heard  ;)) it  is way more trickier and involves middle-men computers and trustworthy friends with offshore bank accounts. Of course, there is the issue of the legality of it.

While you as a punter may be okay with this activity for your personal entertainment with your own money, uncle sam more likely won't be so thrilled about it.

Hi VLS,

I'm from Canada and I know nothing about online gaming restriction in my country.

BTW,  I try to avoid bank transfer as it will cost me CAD $25 fee to send a mere CAD$100.

Tks & rgds,

Well, click2pay.com is an option.

They offer a prepaid debit card for $10 which you can reload. You withdraw won money via ATM on the street thus avoiding regular banking fees.

Check the site and see if you casino of choice supports them.

They will call you for verification, so you need a phone you can actually be available at.

Regards.

Thanks VLS for the info.

I've read about Eco Card and they even accept EFT from Canada.

Just don't know if they are reputable.

Our fellow founding member TwoCatSam has used ecocard if my memory serves right.

Feel free to address any question regarding it to "the cat" :)

Happy gaming.

It's too bad that you're not within a reasonable distance of a B & M casino.

Hi Ron,

It's not a matter of distance as I'm still a newbie and would prefer to start small and only online casino such dublinbet can provide that option.

Perhaps, later on I'll be able to play at B&M casino with confidence.

Okay.

Dublinbet Live is the only type of online that I would consider.  I also couldn't figure out a decent way of funding it.
