I used the same program as before.
I only added that the control-group should start bets after 30 spins (when the "original group" may start bets if there are no zeroes), bets every spin, and go to -10 or +10 or the end of 300 spins.

These are the results.

For Gizmotron:
Can you tell us what your RATIONAL and LOGICAL reasons are to think that you will hit more than 18/37 when you bet 18/37?

Why have you not made proper testing before you say you have found a flaw in the math?
(You wrote a PM to K. that you had three results made by three different people. Do them yourself - and some more than just a few.)

My rational is that you might get a lower number than statistically normal results for spins that attempt to avoid the zeros, 18/38, that tend to hit in lower sized intervals (that's above average) from time to time. What's missing is that by missing them you are left with the other times when they are normal and less than normal. There should be a lower number than the 0.0526 that is the statistical normal number. I've never tested that 20 or 40 is a better number to wait.

I did test the hell out of it. I got results that were beyond the range of possibility of being wrong because of the sample size tested. I did discover a possible flaw in one part of my code that can be programmed around by using a small loop and an (if ** = ** then) comparison test. If that produces the correct result and shows a lower number while also using a control group then I have proof that is unacceptable to others. I have someone else that did tests and got slightly lower numbers consistently. So I must live with two math guys that got statistically normal results and one other that got a lower result and my own that got an even lower result. This was just a test model to see if a rule could produce a different result. According to the math guys I'll not be able to use an AI & pattern recognition methods to ever get a statistical improvement beyond the statistical normal advantage of 0.0526.

I'm sure that since my results are suspect any significant development will also be equally suspect. But I'm attempting to figure out why my code works like it does for me. I've never been one to live with buggy results if that is the case. I'm well aware of the pitfalls of some optimizations in programming that can produce false readings. I developed the first native language version of the Blowfish CBC algorithm for my form of x-Talk computing language. That is where I really discovered optimization pitfalls. Some times you must hard code around some things to get a true reading. Sometime the computer does not always execute procedures in the exact order you intend for it to be executed in and that can result in a false reading when that happens. It's just a problem to find the truth in and to test for each layer of the procedures. It's just a setback while two math guys have favorable results of their testings that reinforces their arguments.

I'm not going to apologize for attempting to prove something.

Hello Gizmotron,

If you suspect something with your code, you can start with checking your seeds if you use the timer.
Today the computers runs so fast that in very short sessions you may very well get the same seed a couple of times so you get the same number-sequence. I have had that problem and it was not easy to find what was wrong.

My RNG's automatic seed is set to the microseconds that have taken place since 1970. My sim runs for more than 15 minutes. It must have millions of unique seeds.

I'm thinking that I should get the results for no conditions at all tested against using conditions at the same time against the same spins that are actually being used for each session.

What i discovered last night is that not all items found in a list with the "among the items of" function picked up all instances of it. I fixed that by looping through each item and checking it one at a time. That stabilized the issue. So I have work to do. Perhaps I'll confirm the results you have gotten so far. That would make me a math skeptic real fast. That's what this is all about isn't it, recruitment?
