Anbody Know If This Is True.......

Hey there everyone  

I was reading an article on Berlin which stated :-

"The Speilbank Casino's top floor is reserved for live play and is stocked with tables for roulette, blackjack and poker. There are no maximum bets at the casino......"

Yikes !!!!  

Can anybody here confirm if this is true or not ??

Don't know if it is true.........Let's go get an overdraft facility though and take 'em on!

Make me think of this chap who walked into the bank meeting up with the bank manager to ask him for an overdraft facility.

The banker then looked at the poorly dressed fellow and asked: "So Mr. J, how much overdraft do you want?" On which the fellow replied:"Well.............................how much have you got?"

When I was there I think max for

2 Euro tables  max 100 euro

5, 10, 20 Euro tables max 500 euro and I think there were some high roller tables with 1000 euro as top.

But things could have changed or maybe they refer to the poker tables.

PS: There are 3 casinos in Berlin, i think the one you refer to is on top of a hotel with terrible blue interior. nice view though.  They have their permanenzes online and i suspected a bias, but after watching the wheels, i was quite sure that there absoloutely no bias. By the way, some of the most expensive Klaus wheels you can get.

Was that by any chance the Hotel where earlier this year  an armed robbery took place   during a poker tourney ?
Something  like   300, 000 Euro  was the booty. Some of it was recovered  and some  of the perpetratorswere caught.

No the last raid was at Potsdam Platz,  but "The Alex" (Alexander Platz) on the top floor of Park Inn was also raided some 6 years ago.  I never played the Alex, because I didn`t like the wheels. Actually I liked the wheels, but the wheels at Potsdam are a bit easyer.  The last time I visited Alex was 1.5 years ago where I met Chris (kesselbremser). Correction: I met Chris at Potsdam and we decided to take a stroll towards Alex, but Chris had to go to some party and i wanted to hit Alex, so we split up. 

There is a third smaller casino in the outskirts of Berlin, but damned if i remember the name now.

The last time I visited Potsdam was about 7 months ago.  I operate a bit more to the west side of europe as we speak. And in southern europe too.
