Title: Any Details on these 2 systems?
Post by: bloomone2002 on April 10, 2008, 05:28:35 PM
Does anyone have any details or experience on the 31 system or any of the methods in the Gamble to win Roulette book by Ellison?

Does anyone have any details or experience with Ivor's Staking Plan?

Thanks

Hello Bloomone,

Would you mind posting them here (in your own words) those betting schemes?

Thanks a bunch, it will enrich the forum and then some people may use it and provide further feedback.

Hi,

The 31 system as I understand it is a parlay bet:  1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 8, 8 (total 31 units)

Cheers,
Atlantis.

Thanks Atlantis, do you have a sample sessions or a description of the entire system with bet strategy?

Hi Bloomone2002,

It is strategy for evens chances. So, first bet is 1 unit. If win on first bet, restart at 1 unit. If lose the first bet go to next bet(s) in progression (1 unit again) ... When a win occurs you need to parlay the win eg. play same stake + any winnings. (ie. double previous bet). Should the parlay win then restart at bet 1; else if it loses go to next step in progression, remembering you always need to parlay after a win (except if it is a first bet winner). After a winning parlay restart at bet 1.

That's it, er... I think.

Hi bloomone2002,

I actually tried it in real casino on r.n.g. machine (alfastreet - airball roulette) tonite and won 12 units... playing exactly as I described in above post..
It took me about an hour and a half. I used £1 units and put bank of £40 into the slot to start.. I'm happy to report that luckily my balance never went below the £40 too :)
It is a slow system; but easy and comfortable to play.

Remember if you lose the full 31 units it still might not be a total write-off as you may have amassed some units before the unfortunate loss occurs.

I was monitoring 1 other "real" table linked to the machine also switching between them to get more bet opportunities.

Congrads Atlantis, that is good news. All the best in the long run. Relative from input to output over the time period, that was about 9 units per hour, which is pretty good. I would be interested with how it holds up for you. all the best

Atlantis,

Are you saying for example--that afer 3 reds you bet black until you win a parlay or go bust?
Title: Re: Any Details on these 2 systems?

Hi Caddy,

The way I was playing it was to wait for 3 consecutive same colors then bet the opposite until a win or go bust...

Assuming a win I would AGAIN wait for 3 consecutive same colours before continuing with the required parlay bet on the opposite color.

If the parlay is won then restart. (wait for 3 reds/blacks)

If the parlay lost then go to next stage of progression and continue betting same colour until a win.

After a win I waited for 3 consecutive same colours to occur again before attempting the parlay bet.. etc.

This is only how I was playing it - there probably must be better method.

I'm interested in any better/safer bet selection that might be useful on this

Maybe using the DBL method instead of waiting for a red/black sequence.

hi bloom,  thanks for the opportunity for my first post.
i got a copy of ellisons book, gamble to win last xmas as the sleeve makes some pretty impressive statements like " 7.94% statistical advantage to the player", " breakthrough approach" and "wagering precision". sounds great but then we read that on page 108 mr ellison admits to only using his system 40% of the time he is at the tables. The book also states that it is only suitable for an american double zero wheel and not european but the bet placement he uses are corners (or quads as he calls them) which have no bearing on the placement of numbers on the wheel, so i struggle to figure this out.
the book is only based on 7500 spins and we all know from rx, a system that one day produces great profits over this amount of spins may and often bomb the next.
Not to take anything away from Mr ellison as his book provides a nice introduction to roulette, progressions, tracking for beginners but in my opinion it was written by a gambler and not someone who plays the game. Im happy to post up all the details if you wish but by being on this site alone you already know more than this system can teach you.

cheers
shaineicus

p.s  many thanks for the site victor, great stuff.

Re:  R.D. Ellison

I have the book and have studied it thoroughly.  In my opinion it does work well on the single-zero wheel.  Does it work every time?  No....

You are essentially betting a dozen numbers, after waiting for a trigger.  I do not use his guidelines; I crafted my own.

I look at the last five spins.  I must have three of a kind, A or Q numbers before I bet.  My minority cannot be back-to-back, but can be non A or Q numbers.

Example:

1
0
36
15
6

I have three A numbers, 1, 36 and 6, so I wait for my next Q number to trigger a bet on the Q section.  He says just use a majority.

1
14
21
6
2

Will not work as the minority, Q, has back to back hits.

Ellison is smarter than most folks allow and his arguments with the two math professors left him looking a little foolish.  But his point was well taken.
