Title: Online Casinos that accept US Players
Post by: JonInRI on May 03, 2008, 11:27:32 PM
Hello all, was wondering what online casinos any of the forum members from the US are using. [smiley=1/ne_nau.gif] And if you have experience with withdrawing from them, then all the better.

I thought it might be nice to have one topic in here where we can post them, since there are a limited number of them for US players.

This country's government is so wacked. [smiley=3/explode.gif] And before I get flamed by people saying, then leave it, I have always believed that you don't give up on something just because of some problems. I still LOVE my country.

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Was also wondering if any US players have tried getting an international prepaid debit card to use to get around the transfer issue  .  I am looking into it, but good info seems spotty at best.

Thanks,
Jon

I am from Oklahoma.  I think I have tried everything under the sun to be able to bet at CasinoWebCam and Dublinbet.

I tried:

Setting up a checking account in the UK....   Couldn't do it.

I tried every pre-paid card I Googled.....  Nope.

I set up a foreign address in the UK and got a world phone with a UK phone number......nope!

I tried to set up a bank account in Tallin, Estonia.    You guessed it...........

I went through epassporte.com and got a Visa Electron card.  No one will accept it because it hails from the USA.

Set up accounts with Moneybookers, PayPal and NetTeller.  All were refused at the casinos.

I did finally transfer money to WebMoney, which is accepted at some casinos, but you must use an anonymous server located in the UK or Australia or some place like that.  Some casinos will not even let you on if you are using an anonymous server.  FindNot.com has one that works called OpenVPN.  I am still trying to fund VegasRed with my WebMoney account.

You may play a live wheel at Suite332.com and Riverbelle.com.  Both take Americans, but Suite332 requires a bank wire.  Riverbelle takes my Visa debit card.

As to withdrawing, I haven't tried.  Read that as haven't won.

Minimum is $10 per number, $10 per split or corner, $10 per street or double street, $50 per column or dozen.

If you want to bet just the number 4, cough up a ten-spot!

My you took that to the limit..... ;)

I think it's a shame that you have to go to all that effort JUST to play roulette on-line.... :-[

Hope you guys in the States catch a break soon....

Just a note to anyone wanting to know:  gnuf casino does not take US players.

Dairmaid

From where I sit in Oklahoma, the government's ban is working pretty well.  I can't play at the casinos I want:  Dublinbet, BetInternet, Ladbrooke's or CasinoWebCam.   I can monitor them by using an anonymous server, but I can't fund the account.

Why Golden Casino has been up and running since day three of the ban amazes me.  It seems it's OK to lose your shirt on an RNG, but not a live wheel.

Why Riverbelle, one of the most trusted and surely one of the oldest casinos around, can draw directly from my bank account and have a live wheel to boot----well I'm typeless!!

Bloom

Barney Frank has had a repeal bill before congress almost since the ban took place.  Many senators and congressmen feel it is a violation of personal freedom

They say it started because some teens got Dad's credit card and ran up a monster bill playing Texas Hold 'Em.  So in a way, many of us are prohibited from having fun because some jerk is careless and his kid bankrupts him.

The next time some sixteen year-old kid gets drunk and kills someone we should ban every frickin' vehicle in the USA!!

(Somebody stop me!!)
