Thanks Winkel.

The Gravity Bet

The author claims "The gravity bet succeeds because the three pole geometric structure of the prediction or bet matches the three pole geometric structure of that which is being predicted or bet. In every case, that structure is a diameter. "

OK then, here's how it works: 3 spins. You ignore the 2nd spin, but "the third ball is predicted to land in one of the five pockets directly and physically across the wheel from the pocket of the first ball."

Simple.

Is there anything in this? Could this really give you a .16666 flat bet geometric advantage? Or is this some kind of joke...?

Any thoughts. Discussion?

It doesn't seem to work on the spins that I've looked at.

The solution that ended up in that bet-selection is funny.

But I see a good start for another thinking about probabilities.
That´s all.

I'm inclined to believe if the dealer spins from the same place each time then the 1.666 rule may apply.  Good starting point for physics/advantage play.

Lohnro

Here is a spreadsheet I have made for this bet. It is very primitive, but I am sure it is correct. Any errors, let me know.
