For me it has been 53 spins and I have seen a couple of 48s.

For a single street, it's been more than 105 spins because at that point I went home!!

ok guys thanks a lot for that. wow never realized how long a double street would sleep for. was looking in to doing some kind of sytem involving a sleeping double street but looks as if it would be a real long wait.

This is slightly off topic.......

When any sleeper has slept through his turn twice and then wakes, bet him for ten spins.  I use this with numbers that have slept 74 spins and then wake.  I have film of the 0 doing just that a few days ago.  It might work with splits, streets and double streets.  I wouldn't go into the dozens.
