As you should know, bookkeeping for gambling is everything. You should have records for an OVERALL plus or minus for the year/month. In addition, you should keep track per different game you play. In addition to that, per method you play. I have dropped a few methods of play (roulette) over the months, no question. *BUT* I am still in very nice NET profit for playing -- furthest back unhit split, 2 furthest back unhit numbers, 1 furthest back unhit number (<<only played this a couple times), and two other methods involving playing 2 numbers in a street and playing a quad. Thats 4-5 methods STILL in profit. Nothing more than playing 4 numbers max. Using nickels, a high BR and past numbers!!!!NOTE: there are maybe two other methods that might do well but are too damn slow for me. I have set off to the side "X" number of dollars to absorb loses. When I lose (sure I lose), the next day(s) profit goes back into the "pot". I can handle around 13 losses depending on which game I would lose. Ken   [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

And what you should do is set a target for yourself of your winnings per day/session, i had a target of 1000+ units but came to realize thats to much for my bankroll at the moment (its 1000 by they way) so i lowered my target BR to 500+ units and it helps a lot i most say.
It happend quite a few times i was up to 1900 units and then had a bog losing streak and for some reason its harder to get up to 1900 a second time.

Holy potatoes roger, I have my regular win target in the +50 to +100 range.

With a 500-unit bankroll I see 10% (+50) to 20% (+100) quite a lot.

My mate, doubling your bank from 1000 to 2000 is quite a feat to be considered on a regular basis, thanks god you lowered your win goal... you shuld be veery glad to reach the 1900's!

Well i play big beds, you play big you win big isn't it?

Mr J

I dont set a target for winnings, never will. I'm more of a clock guy. I set a time when I have to leave. I either leave at that time or leave when I lose my BR. If I set a goal of + $700, getting to that, I know I would just stay longer. Ken

Yep!

But my goal is not to "win big", but win constantly... To me it is a % game, if I can make 10% plenty of times (more than losing the bank), then I'd take that approach instead of try to go for a 1-session "double-up" of 100%, which I know is not usually achievable.

It is a matter of taste my friend, don't doubt by 1 minute I'd LOVE to make half or double my bank per session, but I'd instead arm myself with patience rather than saying the wife I lost it all -trying to win it all!!!  [smiley=lolk.gif] See, being married and with a family to support helps to build caution in more than one aspect in life  [smiley=smiley.gif]

Slow and steady wins the race in my opinion, plus I understand the fluctuations of the game. Id' rather use $10.000 to look for $1000, rather than $1000 to look for the same ammount, but trying to achieve it as a "double-up the bankroll" feat.

Now, if you can win big + constantly then = [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif]

Excellent!!!!

Three posters, three different opinions. I love this game.  Ken  8-)
