I was thinking it would probably be easier to make a long-term winning system on a no-zero wheel (obviously). However, mathematically, a no-zero wheel means I'll always just end up breaking even.
I was just kind of messing around, when I ended up getting these results:
221,407 spins of the wheel
221,407 bets placed (it bets every single spin...every one...)
Starting BR: $500
Lowest BR: $265.63
Largest Drawdown: $408
Ending BR: $1249.65
Net Profit: $749.63
I'm going to let it continue to run and I'll update you when I hit 500k (I'm going to be now though...I'm exhausted)
But in the meantime...any thoughts...anybody?
:( While I was sleeping last night my computer recieved an "automatic update" and restarted...damn windows...
I'm running the test over again from the beginning. It's probably better off anyway, as I can see if it gets the same results, or if it was a fluke.
Again, I'll let you know.
Here is the BR Balance graph of the first 100k spins of the new test. Stats are as follows:
Spins: 100,012
Bets Placed: 100,012 times
Starting BR: $500
BR Now: $1,054.48
Net Profit: $554.48
Largest Drawdown: $320
Lowest BR: $476.48
If the drawdown breaks the $400 or so mark, it quits the progression and starts over so as to avoid what could potentially be a $1000-$10,000 drawdown.
The results for this one are pretty random. :-\
We can talk when you have made 500 000 or 800 000.
Cheers
RJ,
Are you a bot builder? If so, I would like to talk with you regarding a custom bot.
Thanks,
Herb

Nope...I wish I was though...would have saved me a lot of money, haha :)
I had my bot made by Tiago2 (as I'm sure you've read as I said about a million nice things about him...he really was a pleasure to work with)
You might get the idea that I'm a bot builder as I've recently been mentioning this site: nolinks. AYS-Roulette-Bot . com
But, it is not my bot. I'm simply promoting it as I think it is the only honest bot on the market (well, about to be on the market). All it does is automate whatever your system is. Then you can "swap systems" with others...I'm not going to get into it here, but if you want you can check out the site.
But, to reiterate, I'm not a bot builder...(sorry about the long winded answer)
Alright, so here are the results of 750k spins:
(I had to restart it yet again from the last test I started because I had it set to allow for an infinite drawdown. So, right after I made that post the balance plummeted to -$16,000)
Spins: 754,086
Bets Placed: 754,086 times
Starting BR: $0
Ending BR: $1,825.36
Largest Drawdown: $980.00
Attached is the BR Balance Trend
Alright, last one for tonight. Here it is at 825,033 spins
Spins: 825,033
Bets Placed: 825,033 times
Starting BR: $0
Ending BR: $2,222.99
Largest Drawdown: $980.00
BR Balance Graph attached
I think that this wins steadily except for the drawdowns of c. $600 where you quit. These are so rare that in 750k you might get say between 4 and 10 of them 99% of the time (I don't know what this range actually is of course). In your example 4 of them occurred in 750k spins. If it had been 7 you would have roughly broken even, 10 would have lost equivalent to what you won in this test etc.
In other words you are at the lucky end of normal for this test and it would all even out in the end (in percentage terms).
I would of course love to be proved wrong. In any case I would probably be tempted to play this system if I knew what it was!!
All the best

I'm inclined to think that statement is probably correct (although I too would love to be proved wrong).
I have no problem "revealing" the system in play here, as it isn't anything spectacular. I was just looking for some input before I did. I'll be posting what it is tomorrow. Again...it is nothing amazing.
QuoteAgain...it is nothing amazing.
Dear RJ,
If it wins more than it loses then it IS amazing! :)

;D Thanks Victor! You know, I was thinking about it last night, it's the first system I've made that ever placed bets over 800,000 times and still was in profit, so it's a first for me.
This post didn't generate much interest, but for those of you who did choose (have chosen) to read it, here is all this "system" is.
With .01 as unit value, you bet on every number that has come out. You only bet one number. So, the wheel throws 22...you bet 22. Next spin throws 30, you bet 30. So on and so forth. You're just betting on the fact that a number will come out twice in a row.
That's it...like I said in the beginning of this post, I was just kind of messing around.
RJ,
Strip away the progression and run the trials again while flat betting. The results will be easier to read.
