Title: Training to Adapt
Post by: MATTJONO on July 01, 2009, 06:56:05 AM
Hi guys I decided after reading recent posts on the forum im going to try test my roulette knowlage so far and see if I can improve my results as I go along at adapting to what the wheel is doing. (as I always say practice makes perfect) but as I also know that roulette nothing is ever perfect.

my first test was playing on differnt size sectors, trying to bet a sector or 2 sectors of the wheel that I THINK will become hot for a while.

you may laugh abit and find it hard to understand my betting but i hope you do because I do sometimes when I find it alot easyier to play without the real wheel environment which surley makes a difference.

the problem is when to stop betting a sector and when to jump to another making sure you have made the most of the oppatunity. but i guess its all down to the amount of numbers your betting and the amount of profit/loss you have made in the past spins.

Mattjono, it is dangerous to bet sectors that aren't very active or sleeping. They may be inactive for all sorts of reasons that are not related to randomness. Your best course of action is to follow the dominance and attack it until it has faded. It is also OK to bet 2x9 number sectors. If you can identify the dominance and stick with it you won't have to worry about your hit rate dropping below 50%, meaning you will end the attack in [substantial] profit. 12 number sectors work for some techniques, but not others. You may find 9 numbers more effective. Don't use progressions. If you do, you will end up with a system that is no better than anything else mechanical. The point of adaptation is to increase the hit rate of your bets enough to rule out the need for progressions. ALWAYS use flat bets in your testing from now on. When you begin to think that a progression is needed, it is time to forget that way and try something else. Mostly these things involve a lot of self-discovery and you are on the right track.

thanks bateman,  for all the advice I do take it al in.

for the test above I was playing a 12 number bet for a spacific number of spins then retracked and pick a new 12 to attack.
the way I chose my 12 numbers where from the hot parts of the wheel. and I will always stay well clear of progressions until needs be.

I have been threw hand around 700 live spins playing only wheel secters and I think ill chill out for abit know with the testing but hay ill learn my attack inside out so I can place the 12 chips without looking at data or tracking spins.

for this 100 spin test I always had a 3 spin break inbetween bet selections.  I also stopped betting after 6 losses in a row and waited for a virtual win.

I enjoy testing like this having all the next spins in white so I cannot see them.
And listening to long trance tracks as I go on and on with my testing

Still cannot figue out how i show the graph on the messgae but i have attached it below anyway if anyone wants a look.

the 600spins test is all flatbetting however i had 10 sepeate attacks of 6 spins using 2 units for a recovery stage and it seems to work great.

-2 weeks testing by hand
-1300 spins
-697 total bets placed
-108 bets where at 2 units
-589 bets where at 1 unit
-total profit =  +1818 units

i have attached the graph to show you the ups and well ''downs''.

cheers

P.S  if anyone can somehow copy the graph and show it on here as a message that would be great.

Matt,

What sector selection method are you using?

Matt,

Hi caddy,

no spacific rules. i chosen numbers from areas of the wheel ''I'' BELIEVED WILL hit more often than it should in the next 6 spins.
I only ever attacked for 6 spins with a bet selcetion of 9 numbers.

0 hits = -54units
1 hit  =  -18units
2 hits = +27units
3 hits = +63units
4 hits = +90units
