Title: Delete flaming torch threads?
Post by: admin on May 19, 2008, 11:19:59 PM
As this system has caused distress to the forum (threats of legal actions, etc.), and currently it isn't being shared, I propose to consolidate the opinions expressed by our members in a single seperate thread (they can't take down opinions) and delete current "flaming torch" threads from the forum pages.

...Let them go on with their system selling, and let us focus in discussing better systems day by day for sharing and improving them as the roulette community we are, always free for everyone.

I want to know specially the opinion from the users participating on those threads:
Advantage.Player
paulthepilot
Jakkalsdraai
wiggy
WannaWin
iceberg1912
M.Carlo
TwoCatSam

Be certain your opinions won't be touched. The proposal is for them to be consolidated in a single thread: "Opinions about Flaming Torch system", and remove the other ones.

Opinions from other members about this issue are welcome too.

Best regards,
Victor

VLS

Protect yourself from liability.  I couldn't care less about this system as I tried it years ago.  Simply won't work.

It was interesting to banter about the math, however.

None of the forum should be censored.

I say that is not erased.

I only initially commented to give fair warning that it wouldn't work. As far as I am concerned deleting it is fine. If it doesn't work it doesn't work. If someone thinks i'm wrong go ahead and prove to me that it does. Having a wrong system around can help in engineering another system but more often than not it just creates an equally flawed system.

Well i'm a hard-liner as you'll might now.  ;D
Also with this one, i think this is a real open forum everything gets shared from system ideas to progressions enz now with this 'flaming torch' thing its completely the opposite and its driving completely against the soul of this lovely forum so delete the flaming torch has my go.

Hey Vic,

I say keep 'em.

Information is knowledge.

Even if these system are crap, at least people can now find out for themselves.

If someone finds it good and resourceful, well that's also good. I don't see them doing any harm. Remove them and in a month's time or so someone will posta thread, " Hey anyone hear of this Flaming Torch System? "  hahhahahahehhehehe. Then we can go through the whole process again!
Just my view on the topic.

If however you are getting heat for copyright infringements, like TCS says...Bin it Mate.

Cheers!

Remove = Make seller favor.

It takes system users opinions out, which is bad. Genuine opinions advice others not to get scammed.

I vote no VLS.
