Title: the best way to play
Post by: pins on August 16, 2009, 01:42:07 AM
a simple system. if it is already on the board i am sorry, you back each number as it comes out. first no 1. you put one unit on one. and second no26. your bet is now one unit on one and one unit on 26 and so on till you get a repeat.you should win with in 15 spins.  lile all systems you may get a bad run. but nine times out of ten you will win.

but nine times out of ten you will win.>>>

Do some more testing and you'll revise that.

You're being kind Spike, that's not like you....

you need to get a repeat in first 7 spins to profit, 8 spins to break even.   :-[

I don't see this winning 9 out of 10 times ?

I tested this a year ago and it failed miserably.

This was the first system I EVER played in a casino.  See here: nolinks://vlsroulette.com/general-board/how-i-was-bitten-by-the-roulette-bug/ (nolinks://vlsroulette.com/general-board/how-i-was-bitten-by-the-roulette-bug/)

The difference is I was using a progression...that ended up costing me thousands of dollars.  If it lost with a progression I'm sure it will lose with flat betting...albeit in a less "spectacular" fashion.

On a single zero wheel the highest probability for the first repeat is in spin  ~ 7 on a double zero ~ 8.  On average, its obviously 37/38.

You would be better to just pick 6 of your lucky numbers, flat bet those 6 numbers for 50 spins, if you get 9 or more hits, YOU WIN !

This is as old as the hills BUT wins more than it loses.

cheers !

Pactole, thanks for making your first post.

The "escape" tag was messing up that reference post.

The actual WORKING image insertion tag is [attachimg=#]

Please re-read, it has been fixed to reflect this:

nolinks://vlsroulette.com/reference-area/inserting-images-in-your-post/msg26129/#msg26129 (nolinks://vlsroulette.com/reference-area/inserting-images-in-your-post/msg26129/#msg26129)

(Also, I've updated your post above with working tag).

Best regards.
Victor  :)

No, it doesn't. If it did, nobody would play anything else.  Hammy, are you related to Sausage? He's all pork too..

the Lw method wins more than it loses, yet you see people trying and developing other methods.

Oh thanks Spike !! When all else fails take it out on the sausage.

Hammy that does sound like a bit of a Porky though. Surely you mean it Loses more than it wins.
It's no worse that any other system though is it?

Sausage

I really don't know, I never play that way.

Mathematically, it should work sometimes but loses in the long term, as usual !

Let's scrap it !... :skull:

The probability chart in the post at nolinks://vlsroulette.com/full-systems/the-best-way-to-play/msg73516/#msg73516 (nolinks://vlsroulette.com/full-systems/the-best-way-to-play/msg73516/#msg73516) would be wrong. If it was correct, then it is foundation for the "holy grail". I would love to be proven wrong, really.

The odds of one number spinning next are exactly the same as any other spin (unless you account for physical conditions pertaining to ballistics).

please elaborate whether this system is for live or RNG roulette. In live roulette, you bet on any two numbers for any longer it has same probability. Changing numbers with every spin can be very disastrous, you better stick to any two numbers and try it for a number of times to get better odds. Remember the ball and wheel have no memory. It is like shooting arrows in dark. If it is regarding RNG roulette, it may work little better but not always and a loss can ot be recovered that easily. Always tell stoploss when you tell a system. No system is invincible.
