When I was a kid the neighbors had a dog named Marven. He was a good dog. Thats the only Marven I ever met, just thought I'd mention it..

When I was a kid, the neighbours had a dog called Spike.
It was a cantankerous, flea riddled, mangy old mongrel of a thing with rotten teeth, that never stopped yapping and barking at everyone.
It used to think it owned the whole street and would terrorize any poor bugger that happened along.
