This is pure baloney. Every expert denies this can be done and its NEVER EVER been shown in any kind of exhibition or contest. No former dealer has ever come forward and showed his expertise. Its an urban myth.
As far all the mentions of the movie 21, anybody who's worked in a casino for real knows that even though the movie was based on a true story, the movie version was 90% Hollywood bullcrap. They don't 'backroom' people anymore and beat them up and haven't for decades. The story at the tables was speeded up and all aspects had added melodrama to keep the audience entertained. The real play was boring and tedius and who wants to watch that. The movie had very little to do with reality.
Yet its odd our 'dealer' here thinks it mirrors real life perfectly. My guess is he's no dealer at all, just somebody having you on. I read the dealer boards online every day and he doesn't sound authentic at all.

Yup, my post was gone a minute after I posted it. Its Wendel, he does this with threads he starts. He constantly monitors the posts and deletes what he wants. The post I made was exactly about the topic, it just made him look stupid.
