Title: Is This a Bad Idea?
Post by: rjeaton1 on August 31, 2009, 05:04:01 PM
The last couple of times I've gone to the casino, I used a small 3" tall 4" wide notebook to track with.

I'm going back to AC tomorrow for a couple of days and I was wondering:

Do you think it would be a bad idea to use a full size 10" tall 8" wide notebook?

could you not use 3 pages on 3" by 4" book ?

surely mixing in with the crowd is better than sticking out like a sore thumb ?

Just a thought..... 8)

It's not necessarily "bad", but personally I don't like carrying wide notebooks with me to a crowded table, so I stick to smaller ones + two pencils (the extra one I keep in my pocket just in case), each with an eraser.

Sometimes I take an 8x10 folded in half horizontally, so it's a flippable 4X5. I've never had a problem with that.
Better to be comfortable with what you're looking at on paper, than be comfortable with what people around you are doing.

I've carried in a clipboard with 9x11 paper on it.  Metal at that with magnets.

Yes, people snicker.

Snickers are good, but I prefer Almond Joy!
