Title: Taking advantage OVER casino? Possible?
Post by: Mike.OFF on September 23, 2009, 01:52:26 AM
Hi all,

Was playing roulette today and saw that interesting stats (see pictute)
1st dozen - 25.4%
2nd dozen - 36.2%
3rd dozen - 35.8%

We all know, that ratio should be about 33.3% for each dozen.
But now it's just 25.4% for first dozen
Dispersion is about 8%

So, the idea:
What if we will flat betting on first dozen until positive bankroll?
In theory, we have an advantage about 8% over casino  :spiteful:

But when is it ever? I played the dozens for months and often saw one of them sleep for over 20 spins. Rarely are they ever equal.

Ok,
Here's what happened few hours later... look at picture
Looks like it working?

Just flat betting until positive bankroll

So, it took 6 hrs
Dealer makes about 60 spins per hour
So, 360 spins to reach proper correlation

360 - 100%
x    -  8% (our "advantage")

x = 28.8, let's say 29

What is that number - 29? That's our "profit" spins!

If we were betting using 1$ chips it's would be 29$
What if 5$ chips?  145$ for 6 hours! Guaranteed!
Not bad? The same like your day job (at least for the most... ;)

Hello dear Mike.

Remember while they are expected to get near their ideals "in the long run", the long run itself is of a very fuzzy length (I.e. for some the long run can refer to 10,000 spins, for others 1 million spins and yet some say we won't live long enough to see the true long run! -as it can extend to infinity as there will always be 1 more million spins to be spun).

...Perhaps your attack plan should have a "most common evening-out sample lenght", (say they go near evening out by spin # 1000 then that's it). An you commit firmly to it, never going past such point.

Win goal should also be relative to the max. high point most common to every session. Make it very realistic according to these values.

Which was the maximum drawdown on this session?

By the way, it is refreshing to see people like you who are actively studying the game, making observations and wrapping systems around such observations.

Kind regards,
Victor

How about 12, 12, 12 clockwise wheel-order numbers? If there is a disparity in the sections hitting, the most hitting sector will more than likely bring in profit.
