The * stand for Gold star. The automated roulette machine have 42 slots for the ball to fall into,someone can do the winning edge.The machine can play 8 person,it has a live ball coverved with glass cover.
When the ball fall in Gold star you have one free screen which the computer choose by the animation wheel on the player's screen.

I thought the triple zero roulette would NEVER be punted :-\ (So they only dared to put a double zero and nothing more)
You bet EVERY new game "improvement" more often than not is only an improvement for the casino, never for the player. They have bastardized the game enough with this 000 version.
Do you have any picture? Perhaps the machine manufacturer so we can lookup more online? These type of bastardized games should never be supported by roulette players (my humble opinion).
As to the house edge, it would be very fuzzy to calculate if we don't exactly know the average return on the "free screen"(?) Is is a free spin? a mini-game? are your bets returned? what does that "free screen" really mean! :)

I could try to get the name and maybe a picture with my phone if im lucky,as you know camera everwhere,but on my island it is not really that packed and closely watch.About the free spin what happen,when the ball drops in GOLD STAR the machine choses how many balls you get(1 to 3) at times if luck is on your side after the software gives the3 balls all 3 numbers can be a winner which every player hopes for with the free spins.But usually its 1 ball,its a loss.

Also, be certain the payout is 1-36 (1 TO 36, meaning you get 37 chips back. 36 + the 1 you layed) and not 1 FOR 36, in such case you never get your winning chip back.
Can you tell us what happens to the unit you lay? How many chips do you get if your number hits with 1 unit on it?
Of course, we need to know exactly how much is the average payout for the golden star game. We are assuming an
average 1:36 payout too, which may or may not be the case. More information is needed.

If you lay 1 chip you get 36 back,just for info we buy coins like for slots machine,put in the machine store as credit,the max bet you can lay on any play is 50 units,either straight bet,even/odd or line bet.
Above 600 units the win is a jacpot,so you must wait as attendant take the meter,write the paper and you can miss a few good bets :) Golden star game is the same,you get 36 units for 1 unit lay,and lose all bet play if lost.

Well this isn't a 1:36 but a 1:35 payout, as with regular roulette which is even worse for the house edge calculation we applied:

A humungous house edge of 14.28% assuming the asterisk payout does in fact average 1:35.
We really need to know the payout on the asterisk, we are assuming it pays out like a single number win on the long-term, in average.
If it is like your mention that usually the results of it falling into it is a loss, then the house advantage on this particular game is way more than as calculated.
If you were to ask me, I wouldn't lay a single chip on this
very bastardized roulette game.
But again, if you can win consistently on it, then I guess you shouldn't bother about such a humungous house edge, as long as you can cope with it in the long run.

Yes my mistake,i thought 36 units mean 1:36 :) I usually play at maximum 2 hours,but it the long run you lose control try to make large bets and you are history,but i am more in control now.I use a combination from Roulette Warefare system,also at times use my own Quad system,that i posted.

So if your systems work, why do you play it on a machine with nearly 12% haouse-edge?

The Gold Star thingamajig must pay off pretty good. Someone made the assumption it was a loss, but you could get 3 wins. Maybe that happens more often than is being given credit? Otherwise I can't imagine why anyone would play this game.
There is a little secret,among all the machine,only 1 gives 3ball more often,but the truth is that its no secret all the players love to get this 1 first,in case * appear,from 3 balls at least 1 will pay,in 20 * maybe 1 chance all 3 balls pay if you have enough numbers covered.And why i play this,i love roulette,as i live on the smaller island it is the only 1 available,the live one is on the main island.So i make the best to try and profit fro, it.
