Title: Catch Me If You Can
Post by: Jish on September 27, 2009, 10:39:15 PM
Using this system I tested it out in excel on 10,000 spins data.   It came up 8494 units ontop.   I dont think I have "the" system, im trying my hardest to prove this system wrong before I test it with real money.   I dont know how to use RouletteX and my copy has expired anyway so anybody that wants to put it through could you please send me the results and graphs

~TheBet~
Its actually pretty simple I wait for 8 numbers to be drawn and bet 1:1 Red/Black bets on the 8th number down on the history column.   So my theory is the same combination has to come up 16 spins in a row for this system to fail, thats when I lose $502 because im betting martiangle +1, so I win 1 unit every spin, the sequence being, obviously, 1,3,7,15,31,63,127,255 = 502 Unit loss

~zeroes-
This is where the system has come "kind of" unstuck for me, the way I play is that when a zero is the 8th number I bet on the previous colour, I welcome other opinions on this and I know it will cause a loss eventually

Thanks everyone

100+ views, i guess nobody is interested, is there a major obvious flaw that i have overlooked?

I expect talk of the martingale put everyone off.
Try a 6 point divisor instead.
Here's the link nolinks://vlsroulette.com/money-management/6-point-divisor-plan/ (nolinks://vlsroulette.com/money-management/6-point-divisor-plan/)
It's a very safe and logical plan, but it will only work if wins are regular, so for example, it couldn't sustain your BR if there are long periods of spins where you aren't getting any hits. You should also bear in mind that methods like yours have been tried before, in some variety or other, and have been found to be failures. I don't want to demoralise you though so I won't say any more.
:D

I second what Number Six has said. One thing worth mentioning though is that this plan demonstrates why waiting for x blacks in a row and then betting red is a waste of time. If you're betting that the last sequence of 8 won't repeat then this obviously includes BBBBBBBB, which is just one of the 256 sequences which could have occurred in the last 8 spins and is just as likely as any other.

So you are betting against the same # sequence repeating twice in a row?

Thx for posting those results Jish  :good:

Good for newbies to see results over a large amount of spins  8)

Also note, that the graph would look exactly the same with out the waiting... (A bit shorter, though...)
Any system involving Waiting and Martingale will inevitably crash. (Of course, same goes for progression in general. Progression is not a weapon to beat roulette. Neither is Waiting.)

Just a little bit wrong.

Depends on how supersticious or deluded you are.

Progression is a great tool, but it is not a weapon in itself...
Waiting.... don't get me started.. the ball has no memory.
