Title: I Beat The Machine
Post by: Spike on September 28, 2009, 01:57:48 AM
I flipped a coin on the Bally roulette machine today, heads was Red and tails was Black. I bet $1 and used a standard D'Alem. My goal was $50 and I made it. I never bet more than $14, it took about an hour. Your goal CANNOT be to complete the progression, to bring it back to $1 bets, you'll never get there. I was mostly between $6 and $10 bets and as soon as I hit $50, I quit. Random against random might be the only way to beat this turkey. It can get hairy and you need a reasonable goal for the base bet. You're still making money even if you get in the upper ranges, you just have to stick with it and not worry. You can always stop if you get close to the goal or stop anywhere you're in profit if its been going on too long.

Very good advice, in the long run after a very hard session, it is for the best to stop at profit, even if you are only halfway your goal.

I tried this at a local using but I used Marven's staking plan, however I only played 3 levels instead of 5. I finished with 33 units because I ran out of time and had to go somewhere.
