On Friday 2nd October Derren Brown in the UK will try (and I bet he'll succeed) in predicting the right number to come up on a spinning roulette wheel. :yahoo:
One lucky punter will win a 35:1 bet equal to 175,000 pounds! :pleasantry:
So how do you think he'll do it?
Please post your method.

Personally I think he'll use magnets in collusion with the casino in question and channel 4 will foot the bill secretly paying back the winnings to the casino. As to who will receive the 175,000 pounds ...
well .... it could be YOU
How do you think he'll do it?
Answers before Friday's show on 2nd October please.

I hope you will post the video. How will he do it? I'm sure he's read Kimo Li's book about predicting the exact number. That is how he will do it. (I can give you chapter and verse and quote from the book if anyone thinks I'm bloviating.)

Interesting you liked Kimo's book. Personally I didn't find it helpful at all.(Returned it and got my money back)
But anyway I don't want to stray off topic of this thread.
I'll definitly give you the link to the program on You tube,
Thanks for your thoughts.
I think he'll just pick number 9 and be done with it....
Smoke and mirrors. :slow_en:

If I told you what I thought of it, my post would get deleted.
Is there be any streaming or. . . ? And what is the GMT (+,-)
He has done roulette as a 'sideshow' before, and he bet on 22. (The old myth that ALL wheel are bias 22 since the Monte Carlo incident)
I think it hit 9 that time... so he was close.
GMT Greenwich Mean Time You can figure your GMT by determining where you are in the time zones. Google "world clock" and it will explain it.
So two people can say, "Let's meet a X GMT" and each would know what time it really was. I am 15 hours behind Australia.

I saw the video. Is it typical in EU for the dealer to change 5K in chips and let a player bet 5K straight up, without informing the pit? In the States, there would be 2 pit people observing the whole thing.
It a Derren Brown show Spike, the last thing you should expect is it to be genuine !!!!
the other week he "picked" the lottery numbers for goodness sake..... :nono:
grainy feed from the "camera" in his sleeve (which was the size of a King Kong t**d)
another grainy feed from the balcony showing the ball land....
I'd carry on typing but the pinch of salt I've taken with this show is up to my shoulders......
The whole 'casino' was a pathetic set-up, who's he fooling..
