Title: Full Time Play vs Part Time Play
Post by: Spike on October 09, 2009, 06:20:57 PM
I've been playing 5 days a week since June. The biggest change I can see from playing part time is there is a definate rythmn to the game thats missing in part time play. If its easy to play today, tomorrow it will be hard. If the zero's slept today, tomorrow the marquee will be a sea of green. The zero's are just bother to me, if there's a lot of them I have to play longer to reach my goal. If today you didn't see any stupid players, tomorrow you'll be surrounded by them. There's an up and down to everything in the game that you don't really get in practice or in part time play. Breaking even during the chaotic times is the salvation for me, its when most people would be losing. You can really see what a great game roulette is for the casino, because to beat it on a regular basis is very difficult, and most people I see playing have not clue one as to what they're up against..

Your driving distance ( average) .

I know J.P. drove  to AC 5 times a week, one way  2 1/2 hrs.  He remained there   ( about 5 1/2 hrs) until 7 PM sharp ( sports time  on the radio while  driving back home).

Luckily for him the weather  was  not too bad in NJ during the winter months but here in the north -east and probably  in your location too it might be  another story.

In Fla. he is frequenting the " underground  casino road show ".  The  Indian Casino in Tampa  does not  offer too many table games  but according to him at those underground casinos you cannot get near  a  baccarat table . Players are waiting in line  for a seat.

He  gives some  "green"  to the PaiGow   dealers to keep a spot open for him.

He once mentioned roulette table min $ 15.

Those   roadshows  are always  at a  different location  and then  only 2 x per week.

HAPPY WINNINGS!!!

Which is why the most important strategy is to "win by breaking even", to set up the betting and bet-selectioning to take advantage of those longer-term observations... not to, eg, play the shorter-term variances.

In a way, I miss the regular "action"... but until one finds the right combination of methods, it remains a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" activity on a full-time basis.

Of the bigger illegal "home games" I know about... a lot have been "busted", and most have (to have) something to do with "Guido".
