Technical Systems Testing (TST) has issued a certificate of fairness to Playtech in respect of its random number generator (RNG), the turnkey online casino and gambling software provider announced this week.

The certificate covers Playtech's online casino, online poker and online bingo products as verified by TST, an internationally recognized Accredited Testing Facility (ATF).

Compliance Testing
Compliance testing ensures that iGaming systems operate in a manner consistent with prevailing regulatory policies of the jurisdiction from which the gaming systems are hosted. TST's iGaming compliance testing service offerings include (but are not limited to):

Random Number Generator (RNG) evaluations,
Game and Mathematics evaluations,
Ongoing RNG or Game Payout verification and reporting,

Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance (QA) testing ensures that iGaming systems function according to intended design specifications during the development phase. TST offers a full range of QA testing service offerings for all types of gaming systems and technologies.

Transfers of Approval
In instances where iGaming components have been previously evaluated by another recognised independent testing authority, TST is able to perform a Transfer of Approval (TOA) to assist in reducing the amount of re-testing required for new or update Certifications.

TST will perform a gap analysis and then only concentrate on any incremental testing required to verify compliance of the iGaming component(s) with additional or newly applicable standards. TST takes into account and leverages prior internal and external testing of the iGaming component(s) to maximise testing costs your organisation may have previously expended.


Verification is achieved through mathematical and statistical analysis in accordance with strict standards, and certifies that the Playtech RNG distributes numbers with sufficient non-predictably, fair distribution and lack of bias to particular outcomes.
