Title: What Strategy?????
Post by: Rolly on March 03, 2010, 01:45:31 PM
I'm pretty new to roulette and wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction as to a profitable strategy I could use.
I'm looking to play odd/even red/black hi/lo or dozens.  Just something simple to start.

Do you have any recommendations?

Howard, thanks for the link.  Very interesting site.  Maybe I should have asked for a system I could use.  Is there a simple system that will produce regular profits that I could follow?

Rolly here's something simple for ya.  R,R,B or B,B,R, (continuously) depending on which color, Red or Black is dominant with a progression 1,2,4,8,16 (if your base bet is $1).  Not foolproof, but in hit and run session (3 attempts up the progression maximum) you should be okay.

btw welcome to the forum Rolly. :clapping:

Thanks ProofReader now that's something I can start with.

So, I should quit after 3 goes, is that right?

Three wins.  It may take 15 spins to get to 3 wins.

Rolly, i will give a couple of advices which hopefully will save u LOTS of money.

1) If u play RNG, never play it for too long. As proofreader adviced u, use hit and run approach with them.
(betvoyager can be exception though)
2) get Roulette Xtreme software, it is not expensive, but u will get lots of ready strategies with it, and u will be able to decide what will work for u. No strategy is foolproof in roulette

Thanks for the help guys.  When starting out should I spin a certain amount of times first so I know which coulour is dominant?

Four colors + out of seven is dominant IMO.

this is only one way of thinking. There are many "schools of thought" in roulette. 2 common opposite directions are thinking either "cold" or "hot". Somebody  may give u advice to wait for dominant colour and then bet that
one "cold" will come up. Someone else will tell u that u should bet dominant.

i suggest u get RX. that is a great (and not expensive ) software, if u gonna deal with roulette

After progression 16 quit.  A note with RNG's...what I like to call the 3 minute rule....After 3 minutes, RNG usually turn predatory,  so in three minutes if you have not made three wins walk away.

Seems very sensible.  Have you actually done well with this system?

Listen to Proofreader, he is our expert for fooling RNG.  :)

look at his topics u may find some useful info.

as for me -- though i am able to defeat RNG sometimes, i prefer to stay away from them now. Too tricky bastards. Try playtech live wheel with 10 c minimum bet, unlike RNG their live wheel will let u put 1 penny bet, u have to fill up the table, it can be
5 red/5 black and 1 c let's say on even. if u wanna test your system live. just beware of zero killer.

I've won a couple of times.  After three wins, or 3 minutes I do not return to that casino for two weeks.

@Howard: you sound like a casino agent (they don't want bettors to win).

i'd rather say he sounds just like  a new general harasser. As if we had a lack of them here. I already PMd  some moders about him, hopefully they will watch him.

Where do you play playtech live?

Also the Roulette Extreme software does look interesting, do you use it often?

I can verify the 'three minute rule'.

But it applies to Gamblers, NOT rng.

Apparently, 3 minutes is the max attention span of most gamblers.

Any longer, and they begin to imagine 'conspiracy theories'.

RNG Scientists call it 'The Goldfish Syndrome'.

A 2003 study done by the School of Psychology at the University or Plymouth,

PROVED that the attention span of a gold fish is 37 numbers..

Sorry, what were we talking about ?

look in live casinos section of this forum for table limits, but here what i remember are from 10 c each (and basically can be played from 1 c) : joyland, William hill, 21 nova, sky kings,  Eurogrand (as far as i remember).

RX is an everyday software. It is a necessity for a roulette player, not less than that.
