Title: Help with Proofreaders "Zig Zag" method
Post by: thenewbigmack on April 15, 2010, 08:39:46 PM
Hello guys... been talking with proofreader and doing a lot of research lately. I'm a US player so playing live isn't the easiest thing. anyways... I have been using his zig zag method on an RNG table. Here's how it works for those of you who dont know.

We use this sequence of numbers:
1/2/3/2/3/1/3/1/2/1/3/2/1/3/2/3/1/3/1/2/1/2/3/2/1/3/1/3/2/3

if the sequence goes 1/2, 2/3, or 1/3, then we bet on dozen 1&2, 2&3, 1&3
if the sequence goes 3/2, 2/1, or 3/1, then we bet on collums 3&2, 2&1, 3&1

The idea is to use this sequence so the RNG can't catch onto your system. I use a few rules when playing this method:
1) Play no more than 10 minutes at a time
2) Never start the sequence over again
3) wait atleast 1 1/2 hours between sessions and delete cookies each time (proofreaders suggestion)
4) only use .25 base bets until my bankroll significantly grows

So my question is... what type of betting works best here? Seems as though a 1,3,9 etc. progression will be the most profitable, but the highest risk. at the same time, if we are only playing short session, seems like the progression is safe enough to use. Before anyone comes in here saying how stupid i am, yes i know everytime you use a progression there is a risk of going broke. anyways... what do you guys think? progression, and if so, what type of progress. or flat betting?

Thanks in advanced!

Bryant

Reversed D'Lambert (add +1 on win, subtract 1 on a loss) with two dozens is quite good especially for short playing periods as the above strategy. I will be interested to see some results

P.S you should start covering the 0 when the stakes go >5 per dozen.

add 1 on a win... subtract 1 on a loss.
so lets give an example to see if i understand

bet amount/win or lose
1 / win
2 / win
3 / lose
2 / lose
1 / win
2 / win
3 / win
4 / lose
3... etc etc??

anyone have any actual tests they did with the 2 dozens method using this betting that they could share? thanks!

that's exactly like this. It is far more bankroll sparing then 1 2 9 27.

Here some testing.

Not bad but the progression should be restarted at certain point.
