Title: Kicked off table
Post by: 2nd12forlife on April 18, 2010, 04:48:22 AM
I'm an avid player of roulette and have been for years (much thanks to this forum for enlightening me on some things), but recently I moved my attention fro roulette, although I've done well, to playing blackjack and Caribbean 5 card stud mainly.  I have a daily job, but I only work for about 2 hours a day, so it gives me a lot of time to go down to Atlantic City (takes me about 30min or less to get there).  I spend most of my time in Resorts (very little casino) but I also venture next door to the Taj Mahal.  Recently I saw 2 things I have not seen before.  One wheel I was playing on had a man who won about 5k in about 10 minutes, the dealer called over numerous pit bosses and I believe they were going to change the wheel before the man left with his money.  The second thing that annoyed me even more is at the Taj Mahal I was winning consistantly at blackjack for about 4 hours( I do a varient of counting cards) and the pit boss said the table was closing and he told me to go to another black jack "bust it" table.  Keep in mind that I play there and win numerous days a week. Do you think this was intentional? and do you think they will give me problems in the future? btw there was no other seats open at any tables.  This happen to anyone else?

Of course it was intentional. AC is going broke, you think they love people who are taking their money? They'll change dealers, close tables, speed up the spins, do anything they have to do to make you lose. Its their job.

Yeah thats what I thought, and I don't think they are going broke, especially since the South Philly casino was ditched.
