I've come across a few posts / threads that were blatant spam, and I removed them. The moderators missed it and I only just saw it. We as moderators cant read everything, so we rely on the members to REPORT POSTS that are in violation of the terms. For the members, it's just a click of a button and the moderators are notified. If members actively report posts like spam, then spammers dont bother signing up and posting again because they know barely a few people will get to see their ad anyway.
A few members in particular are very active in reporting posts to keep the forum clean - they'd know who they are, and thanks to them. Anyway it's just a reminder to help with moderation.
PS - Try clicking "report to moderator" on your own post. I found the message funny: "You can't report your own post to the moderator, that doesn't make sense!"
PPS - Report post wasnt working recently but is fixed now.
