Title: Question for people who drive a long distance to a casino...
Post by: Mr J on May 30, 2010, 11:03:13 PM
Who here drives far to a REAL casino and plays with dollar chips? Why on Gods green earth would someone do that? Even if you have a 'good' day, using dollar chips, are your NET wins worth the TOTAL time put into your casino day?  Ken

The way I see it, unless you're a Pro, the less money you put on the line, the better.

Pro or not though, not everyone takes a 5k bankroll and goes to play with $10 chips straight away, some people like to start small. It has nothing to do with how distant the casino is.

My point being, I would not drive 3 hours (one way) with a BR of $250, lol.  Ken

to be honest im not that comfortable putting more than $250 on the line when I'm not guaranteed- or atleast have a high probability- of winning. If i had a 100% guaranteed system though I would sell my house and use the profits.....hmmmm perhaps VB isnt so bad afterall :scratch_ones_head:
