Title: Combining loads of strategies
Post by: jstraa on June 06, 2010, 05:03:12 PM
Last years I've been fooling myself a lot trying to come up with dozens of strategies, systems etc.  which of none work.  What I've come up with now is probably the best thing yet, I put some conditions toghetter and am betting on conditions you can't compete with in your head.  But I want to know about probabilities.  I have a 5 number part of the wheel I'm betting what's the % of times this part won't hit in a wheel for 16 spins? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On average, it will hit twice in 16 spins

Thanks for your reply, and the chance not hitting it in those 16 spins ? 5 % ?

The chance of at least one hit for 5 numbers in 16 spins is 90.2%, or equivalently, the chance of no hit at all is 9.8%.

Thanks, my stop loss is at 135 $ so if I play 150 spins and make a 300 profit I think I will cover it.  I will test more and let you know.

are you taking 5 numbers that are together in a roulette wheel? If yes, I think you should wait for atleast 10 spins where it has no hits then go ahead. Mathematics and statistics and probability concepts do not work in the game of roulette, otherwise every player would win by selecting 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 numbers or even a dozen. It is a matter of chance, may be your number hits very first spin and it may not hit even after 100 spins. It happened with me many times my friend. At times you would win easily and at times you would not get your numbers till the end of your bankroll. If you will see the ball passing through your selected numbers but not stopping there. This is the ground reality which you will have to accept sooner or later.
