Here is a video revealing how the real professionals make money at roulette. I don't say win, because this has nothing to do with luck, and professional players don't leave things up to any luck.

Please change your topic name to something related to poker instead of roulette
Thanks
The title of the video is a bit misleading it is not specifically about poker but it relates to roulette as well. The methods used are basically the same.
It is also illegal. Not only can you get banned and seriously fined, but you can face jail time.
Past posting can't be done in poker. The dealer pulls the chips in after each betting round.

No, this is NOT how the real professionals win at roulette, this is cheating and (as Davey pointed out) can get you to jail. A real professional knows that this is not worth it.
Funny how in 6 posts he has tried to sell a system, and endorsed illegal cheating. No mod/admin says a thing. But if he were to say a system was a fallacy, WATCH OUT! lol.

I noticed that. Pathetic huh? ;D
Wow the attack is coming to new guy hehehe. It was expected.
First of all I did not endorse the cheating, just brought it to your attention. This guy in the video was a professional because he did not only live from this cheating but got few millions before retiring. He has written a book about it. So there is no question about his being a "professional".
This does not mean I would do it, and do not recommend it to anybody else either. My conviction is that there is no such a legal system that could feed a professional roulette player. This is why I point out that the only real way how professional gamblers make consistent money at roulette is not something that the casinos would endorse. If they endorse it, then that means the gambler is a built in shill of the casinos to hook potential losers.
About your comment that I "tried to sell a system" is a hurried, malicious, a wrong judgment. I am not selling a "system" and you could have known this if you would have taken the trouble to read my first post carefully. Except, of course if your intent with your posts is to deliberately defame me because I have offered the truth. What I am selling is the truth about a loser system. I am selling an independent test evaluation of a popular roulette system that so many praised on the net and I have proven it to be a loser on the long run. Otherwise I wonder would it be a mean thing to sell a system here that so many others did before me without you flaming him? If it is a mean thing why don't the mods just ban it and delete the commercial section? And by the way I have made my sell offer at the right place reserved for commercial ads only, just as the moderators have prescribed.
If a mod/admin needs to reprimand someone here then that is not me, not even if I have done all this in 6 posts. I suppose having only 6 posts is not a crime here yet. Or is it? One can never know these days. . .
Take it easy people, nothing wrong intended!
No worries frank. :)
Welcome to the forum btw.
Thanks NS.
You mentioned that this is not how the professionals live of playing roulette. . . I am indeed very curios then how do they make consistent profits from playing roulette - if they exist at all? What system do they use - or did they develop psychic abilities to predict the future? Please don't laugh at this question, I know it is possible; some people have done it (not with roulette but with lottery; see Remote Viewing).
I know there are professional gamblers, but they make their money from poker and similar games where an edge over other players can make you consistent profits. Or by being bites for suckers paid by the casinos. But a professional independent roulette player. . . well I don't think there is such a thing, without using some form of cheating. Roulette is not a mysterious game of luck, its long term outcome is based on exact science and mathematics. There is no way to falsify mathematical facts like 1+1=2, and declare that by discovering 1+1=11 I am living of playing roulette.

Richard Marcus has written many books about it. Anyone who has read his many books will know that the story is pretty much the same old junk, but for some reason, key details are never the same. There are many people who scrutinize his claims because many of them, including his results are unverified to anyone other than him. Richard and his books claim that the ONLY way to make real money in casinos is by cheating. This is simply untrue. Even his poker book deals only with the way to make a pile of money by cheating. There are other ways to get an edge in casino games LEGALLY. But someone like Richard would not have the skills or patience for any of it. That is evident by his writing.
one of my hybrid teams know richard, he mentions it on his blog. he's more into flat out cheating though, not so much AP

I don't know Richard and which of his claims are true or false so can not comment on that. But even though he is cheating which is basically a form of crime I would not go out of my way to defend his "victims" the casinos either. They are cheating the players in a completely legal manner through their house edge, confusing the players judgmental and focusing abilities with specially designed environment, scrambling the numbers on the table to hide true wheel distribution, hiding the real amount won by declaring your own bet chip to be a win, excessive noise, fast pace of game, etc. and introducing all kinds of psychological methods to create gambling addicts. I would say the cheaters and the casinos deserve each other.
You mention that there are other ways to get an edge in casino games LEGALLY. Well I know there are, for example in poker. But Roulette doesn't belong to those games where you could consistently beat the house edge legally. OK perhaps in rare exceptions where they use old roulette wheels and there is significant wheel bias. That can be exploited. . . until they find it out finally. But with the modern wheels that most casinos use nowadays the only legal way of gaining the edge is by having real psychic abilities and predict the future with above the chance probability.
If you know any other means or systems please enlighten us.
It is like robbing a bank.. If you dont get caught, then it is ok..

Players know exactly what the rules are playing roulette. If one does not like the rules....don't play. The casino isn't cheating. I have not heard of a gambler on a lucky run winning well, accusing the casinos of being cheats....only when they loose do they do that. It is a fact that roulette is very very tough to beat consistantly.
Davey Jones and NS know what it takes. About your remarks about new wheels being unbeatable. .........OK If you say so ;D
frank,
Are you or were you a casino employee?
Just curious (you sound like one). :)
NS,
If I were a casino employee then I would be selling bogus roulette systems instead of test evaluations that reveal the true performance of popular bogus systems. A casino employee would be eager to defend the casinos and their interests as few members here already demonstrated. I was doing the opposite. A casino shill would be very eager to hide this video not to motivate players to become experts at cheating for the detriment of the casinos. Its a mystery to me why did you get this idea about me... :scratch_ones_head:
Knowing about mathematics, probability theory, and some hidden truths about gambling, casinos, and gambling psychology is not the monopoly of casino employees. Yes, I have heard that there are some ex casino employees who were pissed off by something, left the business, and started spilling their beans to the public, but I am not one of them.
frank,
Thanks for answering.
I didn't say you were a "shill" or any of that. I just thought you sound like a typical casino employee, I.e. knows the math, knows that systems lose, but believes the only way to beat the game is to cheat, and has no clue about the physics of modern wheels, only assumptions.
OK NS,
I am all ears... Tell me about the real physics of modern wheels. Share your wisdom with us.
How about my credit card number?
good idea ;D I should have thought about asking that too. ;)
