Hi Norman,
May I ask what is the thinking behind this bet? Why would this give you an advantage? You are obviously backing for zero to hit right? Why did you favour zero?
Cheers
Jakk
OK Jakk Thanks for asking. My strategy is based souly based on the primmest of,"Zeroing Out". I've set up the layout so that no matter where the ball lands, (Except for the 0's) the odds will bring everything back to zero. No win, no loss. Notice how the inside bets are backed up by the bets in the 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd 12. Now, count how many chips are bet in any one of the sections of 12, Include the bets on the inside, and outside. They will all add up to 37chips.
This is where the 0 comes into play. I've nullified everything except the 0, so the only way to do that is to bet our famous number 37. As for the AR version, finding that was dumb luck!
AGAIN, this might look 'okay' on paper but at a fast table, you'll never get all your chips down. Also, why cant some of those bets be made into splits? Ken
I feel like just because a chip is a chip, and it's just another color on the layout the denomination rule still applies. Here we are using $5, and $1 chips. They must be used precisely as directed. You can not trade off. It's of the utmost importance, because these chips are strategically placed, and using the same denomination instead of two matters, and throws off the entire system if not used right.
How the game is played is up to your imagination. I can tell you that you need a creative solution that fits your situation though. Remember that circumstances prevail. I would not presume to tell you how much to bet, or for how long. As for the situation of not being able to place all the bets in time for the ball to stop spinning, the only thing I would suggest is inviting a friend to come along with you. This all reminds me of the times when people would ask me where they should bet to have the best odds for winning. Unfortunately I had no for that.
For the most part, I just wanted to see if I could beat the system, and I feel vindicated in that matter by using the, "As Far As You Can Go Without Going Over", strategy. Also, I must apologize for all my idiot trash strategies. So, please pardon me of that.
Forever, Norman
I'm sorry i just don't see any real advantage here unless you get a run of zeros. You will win on 4,7,10,17,20,23,30,33,36 and of course zero however you lose varying amounts on all the other numbers. My testing shows that you can have huge losses at times
Ross
If all numbers were to come out statistically perfect i. e. each number once in every 37 spins you would break even anything else and you are relying purely on luck that certain numbers must come out to give you a profit.
Ross
I really am having a tough time, (as we all are I think) thinking that the holy grail is a sure shot never lose sure fire way of betting without end. I believe that through all my testing using the xtreme roulette 2.0 sofware I was able to have substantial amounts of winning sessions with only 1000 chip buy-in. You maybe thinking, "wow, only 1000 chips" right? If you notice that your winning a much greater amount. I can't garauntee a win every single time.
I'm sorry but I don't think so.
Your testing is proving different to mine. one test of 300 actual numbers showed a loss of over $3000. Another a loss of nearly $500. I have shown a good profit at times when the numbers come out favourably and I stop on a profit however any time I test over an extended series of numbers I lose.
As the average return for each number from 1 - 36 is -37 units I just can't see how you can make a profit long term unless you get a favourable run on zero to compensate.
Ross
Try 38 chips on 0 instead
Just tried it and done 1000 in 103 spins.
Also, good luck finding a table with a spread of 1-38 on the single numbers.
my casino is 1-20, most are I think.
Nice try Norman, keep chipping away at it, mate. :)
GROOVEY!!! I'm used to a $500 outside, and $200 inside betting limits.

...$200 inside betting limits.
What's the minimum for inside, $5?
Having visited most of the casinos in the US I can tell you what the betting limits are just about anywhere.
In LV most of the limits are $1 to $200 on a $5. min bet game. (min. chip is $1.)
On the single zero games you may go $5 to $500 (min. chip is $5.) or even $1k with a $25 min -$100. bet game.
depending on the casino
With prior certain properties will allow $25 to $3k straight up with a $100 min. bet game.
Small town casinos usually have a spread of only $1 to $100, or $1 to $50.
Little towns with small action will allow just $1. to $25.
In Mo you will find $1 to $300 in Harrahs props and $200 elsewhere
In Miss you will find $1 to $300 and $1. to $100.
In NM you will find $1 to $50 most of the time.
In Co 50 cents to $100.
In Conn. you will find $1. to $200 and $25 to $500.
In AC $1. to $200 and $25 to $500 at Borgata
1 dollar

So are you saying in LV I could start by placing $1 on five straight up numbers, and progress that all the way up to $200 on one straight up number?
In LV, if $200 is the limit for a straight up, what's the limit for a street, $600?.. so I could go from $1 to $600, then add in the straights and push it to $800?
Bombus,
You can go quite a bit higher than jut $200. You can go all the way to 3k straight up and then you can also use the streets, the splits, etc.
It's only the little casinos that have small limits of $25 and $50.
Some casinos have "Anyway to the number" and others have "Progressive".
Anyway means $200 any way you can get at the number.
Progressive means $200 straight up, $400 split...etc.
You can bet a great deal more than just $200 straight up on a number in some places.
Wow. That's really great. I just called one of my old haunts, and you where right. They don't accept bets like that anymore. Just a max payoff of $350. That's way over my 1,295.
Come on over to LV and I'll show you around sometime. :)
Hey Keyser, serious question. Do you think you might be in LV in November? You dont live there, correct? Ken
That Rouls!!!
